I have an old projector with a VGA connection, that would be needing a bulb soon. The price of the bulb was so expensive I decided to look for a new more updated projector. I discovered the DBPower 1080. This projector displays awesome videos in low light as well as in complete darkness! Throws the picture a nice distance. The sound is great without adding additional audio, but additional audio-only enhances the sound. I love that I can connect to wi-fi, use my Roku. USB, plug in my portable DVD, cast from my phone. Its light enough for me to transport to class when needed. My 7-year-old granddaughter enjoys the fact that she can start and run it on her own with no problem. The price and quality cant be beat! I have shared with family members they were very impressed! They have requested Movie Nights at my house!

I read a bloggers post that had 10 of these listed this I believe was the second or third one so not only did I read her review but I also read the actual reviews on this on the Amazon app and I am so glad that I purchased this one it’s been amazing I did have to buy an adapter for my phone and also an extra aux cord for a speaker but it is so crisp and clear

As the headline says, this is nowhere close to 9,500lumens. Any claims to the contrary are simply an outright lie. I picked this up for a room with a lot of ambient light, knowing that the brightness claim was going to be a lie, but figured it was worth a shot, especially with a free return through Prime. After getting everything set up I would say it is almost as bright as my 5y/o Epson ex5220 which was rated at 3,000lumens when it was new and probably has 500hrs on the bulb at this point. I knew an 9,500lumen projector for under $300 was too good to be true and it is. If you can get over the misleading brightness claims; overall its a decent cheap projector. The streaming from a device is glitchy, but they all are all. As mentioned in other reviews it has a HDCP, which means youre not going to be able to stream from a service, like Netflix or Disney+ which makes it pretty useless for everything but a presentation. The 4point keystone adjustment is nice, and everything else is tidy and works as expected. If I hadnt been buying it specifically for its brightness Id probably keep it, but cant handle such misleading claims, especially when they are so comically overstated like this one. If youre buying for the brightness stay far, far away, if you need a middle of the road cheap projector this will probably suffice.

The picture is very good. Not great but for the money…good. The fan is loud though. If using in a media room you can definitely hear it and it takes away from the experience.

I wanted to be able to watch TV in my bedroom without needing to run cables and make space for a television. I decided to use a projector. This one seemed to be a good combination of quality and price. I added a Chromecast and now have an amazing entertainment setup. The 1080p resolution is enough for a clear, quality picture. The colors are bright and vibrant. With sunlight in the room, it will be difficult to watch, but the picture is bright enough where you will not need a completely dark room. Im very pleased with it. I really appreciate that DBPower put effort into the UI/UX as it is easy to understand all the menu options and settings. Many of the cheaper projectors fail here.

Hosting an NFL Draft get together this week and needed something for projecting in our garage. I currently have an ASUS mini projector, but the brightness is not good unless completely dark and the sound level is too low. Based on other reviews, I thought to check this unit out and I was very happy with the results. Even in an area that gets a moderate amount of light, the picture quality is very good and at 50/100, the volume fills the area without issue. The remote that comes with the unit works very well and the setup was painless. Hope this unit holds up because I can imagine playing games in the garage and hosting Packers parties this fall. Great value and Id recommend it.

Trust the reviewers saying the audio has a really low cap. The built in volume is loud enough indoors, but it goes no louder when you use a speaker device with it. The projector itself seems to cause a limit to volume for some reason. I tried ignoring that when I bought it. The screen was pretty dim, even with the lights off. Nothing compared to the brightness on my phone or laptop. Colors were pretty soft too even with different settings built to increase vividness. Casting was the real issue. Tried using my phone to mirror streaming services, but ran into the built in HDCP (digital content protection). No way around it. If you cant stream Netflix, Disney+, or Prime video, why even advertise that you can cast with your phone? Device is severely limited, but functional if you dont have much preference, hence my three star review.

Quality is great for the price. Volume is a little low but I used a surround system to perpetuate the sound. I would recommend to others.

They projector arrived well packaged and was a snap to setup. I had previously owned and Yaber Y30 which had to be retired due to the unit pulling large amounts of dust into the lens inside the unit. The DBPOWER unit has a much better picture than my Yaber. I’ve seen criticism of the brightness of the picture, but I do not agree. The remote is very easy to use and setup is a breeze. I highly recommend the unit for the price and quality.

We have loved this little projector from the first day. It is lightweight with a clear picture outside even if the full moon is out. It has especially great audio for a projector in this price range. For the money, you would be hard pressed to find a better model. It is the answer to our search for a private outdoor *drive-in* and has made family time a whole lot of fun.
