> 3 daytried using as a cheap option for my golf simulator, i have a max of 11.6 from the 120 screen to the face of the projector. unfortunately at that distance it looked to be about a 100 display. Ive bought and returned about a dozen cheap projectors off of amazon because either the picture quality was terrible, or the throw ratio wasnt what I needed. This projector had by far the highest picture quality and brightness of all sub $300 projectors Ive tested to date, so I was bummed when i could not get it to work. the 4 direction keystone adjustment is a MUST in my opinion, every other projector I have tried has the 1 manual keystone adjustment, which always means one side (or top and bottom) of the screen has really blurry text. Overall a really nice projector for the money

> 3 dayI was on the lookout for an inexpensive, top-of-the-line projector for my basement. This projector fits the bill, it is not very pricey like the one which we have today Epson 730HD (600$). I kind of became allergic to any kind of pricey gadgets which become obsolete in a matter of few years, be it phones, laptops, or projectors. Any repair or replacement with those units is a kind of pain. Another big differentiator with this unit is it has a Wi-Fi connection which is a must for hanging it to the ceiling without wires. It easily connects to your Smartphones be it Apple or Android, there is no hassle of any wires or adapters here. I am kind of sold on these 2 points. Above all this unit has 8500 Lumens Brightness compare to 3000 Lumens with 730HD, 1920*1080P resolutions compare to 1280*720p on our Epson. I am pretty impressed with the color brightness and image clarity it produces compared to our expensive Epson unit. I am also impressed with the speakers on the unit, it boasts about built-in dual stereo speakers (5W) with an SRS sound system, which is completely non-existent on the Epson. I had to always connect the Epson to my external speakers without which we cannot watch any movie or a game. The sound quality on this unit is a bonus which I was not looking for. This unit gives a complete home-theater experience without a big dent in your pocket. I am yet to hang it to our ceiling in our basement, however, it won’t be a big issue, this unit is comparatively very compact and light-in-weight and shall go there without any hassles.

> 3 dayWe were surprised how bright the screen was. We project it on a 120” screen and it was very clear and bright. We were also were surprised how much better the speaker was compared to the older one we had. We activated the wifi and cast through our phone and it worked great. We also used the hdmi cord and it also worked just as expected. We are very happy with our purchase.

11-06-2025This is probably the best projector you can get in this price range. Its quite bright with great picture quality and contrast, even in a moderately lit room (though of course dim light or dark is ideal and quite stunning). Something I learned today that made me write this review is that when I was doing weekly cleaning, I noticed it has a replacable filter for the air intake. Projectors I have had in the past did not have this and quickly accumulated dust. You do not want to have to take a projector apart and clean it. Its a pain, and you will never have the out-of-the-box picture quality again. I do not anticipate that being an issue here. The speaker isnt that shabby really, but I do recommend external speakers for a full home theater experience. ALSO. You can set picture settings when you are actually on a video input (e.g. at the Prime or Roku home screen). This was my largest confusion with this product as it is not in the projectors own menu.

> 3 dayI later received a free replacement from the seller due to some issues with the screen projected, which showed that they care for the customers relationship and the representative told me the reason of the problem(overheat). This changed my opinion to this product a lot.

> 3 dayI have an old projector with a VGA connection, that would be needing a bulb soon. The price of the bulb was so expensive I decided to look for a new more updated projector. I discovered the DBPower 1080. This projector displays awesome videos in low light as well as in complete darkness! Throws the picture a nice distance. The sound is great without adding additional audio, but additional audio-only enhances the sound. I love that I can connect to wi-fi, use my Roku. USB, plug in my portable DVD, cast from my phone. Its light enough for me to transport to class when needed. My 7-year-old granddaughter enjoys the fact that she can start and run it on her own with no problem. The price and quality cant be beat! I have shared with family members they were very impressed! They have requested Movie Nights at my house!

> 3 dayPlease let my pictures speak for themselves. Direct from the Pixel 3 phone to the Amazon review. We had a night out under the porch with two fires going, house light on and alley light in the back. The DBPOWER powered right through! Picture was very bright and quite clear. Speaker more than adequate to overpower background noise and mild conversation. Literally ready to use out of the box. HDMI and Power Cord included. I set it on a side shelf, power and input cables attached, laptop as input and we were in business. There is no techy know how needed, you can to get this going in 3 minutes or less. (including opening up the box, lol!) And I dont use the term clear generically, this DBPOWER projector is 1080p, which is FULL HD. Your normal consumer projector today is just HD at 720p. So a nice clear picture that is bright enough to overpower a fires glow with plenty of loudness for everyone to hear the show!

Greater than one weekA big issue I had with a cheaper projector was that I couldnt adjust both the tilt and the sizing, and both are necessary if you want to place the unit at a very specific spot and project onto a specific space. To elaborate: if you must aim the lens up or down, the projection needs to account for the tilt; if you move the projector far away, the projection naturally blows up and you have to scale it down. The DBPower gives you clear control over both in the settings - it calls the tilt keystone and the sizing zoom. I was pleasantly surprised by the software including every permutation of keystone adjustment. Theres one screw-foot that lets you mechanically raise the angle, and its quick to use. I want to take a moment to appreciate the fabric covering on top of the projector - its a gorgeous, satisfying design that makes you want to place your phone on it as you Miracast onto the screen. The LED is bright enough to project during the day, though you probably shouldnt - see the wash-out above and below the dresser in the pics. Audio is good in a pinch, but if you make this device the center of your media hub, youll obviously want to use the AV out or separate the audio; there is an RCA to 3.5mm cable included, but its extremely short, so Im not sure if its useful. There is some ambient noise from the fans as you would expect, comparable to a hard-working gaming laptop. The focus adjustment wheel feels great. The unit is hefty, so good build quality and no wobble. All in all, the product nails the basics. Miracast is nice to have, since in a pinch you can skip the HDMI cable. I think the aesthetics are great. It blows the cheap projector I had out of the water.

> 3 dayI ordered the 780p 3,000L projector by mistake, so sent that back and ordered the 1080p 8,500L projector. We spent the night outside binge-watching SKY Castle (a Korean drama) on our new 150 screen. The neighbors took notice to it, and came over and watched SKY Castle with us. It certainly got the attention, and I think that people who see the clarity on the screen is envious...and may be ordering their own setup!!!
