> 3 dayoutstanding picture quality and size but lacking in versatility in sound via the audio jack option, not a real deal breaker but should be noted it needs to be enhanced with an sound system amplifier for the full movie emersion experience.

> 3 dayI ordered this projector not really knowing what to expect. I havent owned a projector since college (10+ years ago :( ) and thought it would be a nice addition/motivator for my basement renovation project. I figured, ~200 bucks, why not (I think I paid over $1000 back in college). Man have things come a long way since then! The projector was delivered on time and packaged well which are two important factors in online ecommerce. This unit comes packaged with a remote, HDMI cable, and an AV cable. Immediately, I was impressed with form factor and ease of use. The image quality was significantly better than my old 720p projector. TWO HDMI inputs and the ability to cast from both iOS and Android make this unit extremely easy to use (my old projector had VGA so I needed an adapter to plug any HDMI source, what a pain.... but were in the 21st century now so alright, this is probably standard). But it was really easy to get going. All in all, Im really impressed with this little guy. Small enough that I can easily disconnect and take to my friends house without much hassle. Easy enough to quickly connect to an assortment of content via casting or a firestick. Huge bang for your buck IMO. Glad I chose this one.

> 3 dayLike the picture quality and brightness. Cant predefine which input the unit powers up with... defaults to a home screen, then you have to select the input (hdmi 1 or hdmi 2 etc.) with the remote. So far its been a great upgrade over the Epson 705 that it replaces. Time will tell if it lasts and is reliable.

> 3 dayI just received the projector today and have not had time to really play with it. However, what I can tell you is I was extremely happy with the overall look of the projector, it was very easy to set up and had great picture quality and sound. I was also very pleased with the backpack style case it came in. Overall extremely happy with my purchase at this point.

> 3 dayI recommend this DBPower Projector if you want a decent alternative to a 120 inch TV. This is the king of its class in Projectors. This is why: Cons 1. Remote did not come with AAA batteries. 2. Remote buttons are not back-lit. 3. Must register unit with manufacturer to receive warranty. Pros 1. Instant big screen TV. At a distance of 8 foot the projector displays the same as a 75 inch TV. The further back you go the bigger it gets. Image is still sharp and crisp at 15 feet from wall. 2. Ability to input two HDMi sources. 3. Input from AV stereo source. 4. Input from two USB sources 5. Input from Mobile phone via Miracast or screen share or equivalent. 6. Low operating noise level. 7. It is bright at daytime / office light as well as in a dark room. In conclusion, the DBPower 1080p Projector will delight and enthusiast because of its brightness, contrast, low operating noise level, number of Input sources and price under 300 dollars.

> 3 dayI use this projector on a daily basis on a 200 inch screen. Comes out with crystal clear video and looks great. However if you plan to use the iOS cast or google casting make sure you have a fast Wi-Fi. Not the projectors fault at all, just something you should take into consideration.

> 3 dayThis is probably the best projector you can get in this price range. Its quite bright with great picture quality and contrast, even in a moderately lit room (though of course dim light or dark is ideal and quite stunning). Something I learned today that made me write this review is that when I was doing weekly cleaning, I noticed it has a replacable filter for the air intake. Projectors I have had in the past did not have this and quickly accumulated dust. You do not want to have to take a projector apart and clean it. Its a pain, and you will never have the out-of-the-box picture quality again. I do not anticipate that being an issue here. The speaker isnt that shabby really, but I do recommend external speakers for a full home theater experience. ALSO. You can set picture settings when you are actually on a video input (e.g. at the Prime or Roku home screen). This was my largest confusion with this product as it is not in the projectors own menu.

> 3 dayI was on the lookout for an inexpensive, top-of-the-line projector for my basement. This projector fits the bill, it is not very pricey like the one which we have today Epson 730HD (600$). I kind of became allergic to any kind of pricey gadgets which become obsolete in a matter of few years, be it phones, laptops, or projectors. Any repair or replacement with those units is a kind of pain. Another big differentiator with this unit is it has a Wi-Fi connection which is a must for hanging it to the ceiling without wires. It easily connects to your Smartphones be it Apple or Android, there is no hassle of any wires or adapters here. I am kind of sold on these 2 points. Above all this unit has 8500 Lumens Brightness compare to 3000 Lumens with 730HD, 1920*1080P resolutions compare to 1280*720p on our Epson. I am pretty impressed with the color brightness and image clarity it produces compared to our expensive Epson unit. I am also impressed with the speakers on the unit, it boasts about built-in dual stereo speakers (5W) with an SRS sound system, which is completely non-existent on the Epson. I had to always connect the Epson to my external speakers without which we cannot watch any movie or a game. The sound quality on this unit is a bonus which I was not looking for. This unit gives a complete home-theater experience without a big dent in your pocket. I am yet to hang it to our ceiling in our basement, however, it won’t be a big issue, this unit is comparatively very compact and light-in-weight and shall go there without any hassles.

> 3 dayThere really isnt too much that I can add to the many reviews about this product. I was very impressed with how easy it is to setup and start using. I needed something that would be viewable in a fairly bright room and this works. Clear picture and good sound from the built-in speakers. The fan noise isnt bad and the remote control works well. So far I have used this to play movies from a USB thumb drive, connected to the HDMI ports, and to mirror my display from an iPad. Im not looking to play anything from a streaming service like Hulu, Netflix etc. This seems like a great product for the price and the carrying case is handy.

> 3 dayThe picture quality and audio are both decent but this is my 2nd projector from this company and both have had smudge or black dots in the projection image the smudge is internal so cant clean it without tearing the projector apart
