I was looking for a projector to use for Halloween projections. This unit was a big surprise for me. It was great for that but even more it is a great projector for watching tv or videos. The picture is huge and bright. I set it up on my wall in my living room and it filled the entire wall. I had to zoom in to make the picture smaller just to fit. Thats awesome. The other features all worked just fine. My only complaint is when you use a thumb drive for playing video files, the video will restart from the beginning if you stop the video. It will not start where you stopped. Not a deal breaker! The fan is a little noisy but has a decent built in speaker. Im impressed with the DB POWER, its a great value and great unit. And I love the padded carrying case it comes with.

It was great, bright, affordable, and good audio. We really liked it as a daily use TV replacement. But within 60 days we noticed the left side started to look yellow. As the weeks went on it got darker and more noticeable. Now it looks like a urine stain on the wall whenever we turn it on. The last projector we got from DB did this too, maybe something to do with the bulb? Maybe we run it too long? But either way it’s too noticeable to use now. If you want this for occasional use then this will last you a long time but for daily use its going to wear out on you in less than a year.

I was very suspect when I saw the low price. I purchased the projector and couldnt be more pleased. This thing is much better then I could have hoped for. The picture quality is excellent. The sound quality is very clear and can get quite loud. I have mine connected to a surround sound system. The picture is very bright! The throw is quite good. Approximately 10 foot away from wall or screen will give you a 100 inch picture. The picture is crystal clear! I have a 40 watt lamp in the room and have no problem watching a movie. You DO NOT have to have a completely dark room, the projector is that bright! It connects to the internet quickly, and is very simple to do. The fan is relatively quite.. I replaced a projector that I had which cost much more than this one because the old projector didnt have Wi-Fi. The picture quality with this projector blows my old and much more expensive projectors picture away! I tried to give you answers that I had questions about this projector before I bought it. Hope this helps. You wont be disappointed.

I just received my DBPower FHD 1080P Projector, was excited to open it. After opening, the projector looks solid, and a quality design. Packaging was nice and I plan to reuse the packaging when storing the projector as the packaging was nice and efficient. I powered it up and it looks sharp! Excited to learn more of the ins and outs with outdoor movie nights with the family this summer! But my initial impression is very good.

Info says not for powerpoint presentations but I found the text to be acceptable. Settings are limited but cover all the basics. Feet are not adjustable so had to use other methods to change the viewing angle. Sound was excellent. I liked this a lot and would recommend. Good value!

Im awaiting my 3rd RD828 ! Perhaps my expectations are too high for what is after all, a budget projector. Im almost sure they are, as i have a high level home theater in a dedicated room using a great Epson projector. I wanted to use a budget LED projector to project a pc based golf simulation program in my game room. The RD828 seemed like it would fit that bill adequately, but although it is strong in some areas, quality control is not one of them. Both units i returned showed artifacts on screen that are evidence of poor assembly environmental cleanliness - Read, not assembled in a clean room ! Hairs and dead pixels that could be dirt, probably on an internal lens, were visible on the screen, and once seen, thats all i could see ! Im hoping the 3rd sample does not have these issues, because I like several things about this unit. The picture is very close to correctly focused in all 4 corners, while the center image is focused, which is hard for a budget LED to achieve. I tried a Nexigo PJ20 first and it was terrible in this regard. With that unit, you could have the center or the corners focused, but not both ! Light output is ok in a semi dark room, but as is to be expected, any ambient light washes it out. 4 corner keystone correction works amazingly well, as does digital zoom reduction. Ill update, if the 3rd time becomes a charm :) Dropped to a one star. 3rd one had something rattling around inside it and picture was the worst yet. I give up on this one unfortunately. It showed promise, but unless im being extremely unlucky, quality control is non existent.

For the price you pay, the picture quality is not bad, it is certainly bright enough as a home projector. However, we have been using this since early October 2021 and after Christmas we started to notice a brown spot appearing in the projection. It is now April 2022 and you can see the result in the picture attached. We are hoping our warranty will help us replace the machine, but so far we have not heard back from DBPower.

I started with a cheaper projector, but I was disappointed with the picture and the noise. And also with the lack of inputs to connect to home theater system. After researching, I settled on this DBPower projector. And it was an excellent choice. You could spend a lot more money on a projector, but Im not sure what more you would get out of it. Or want. This projector has it all. It has a bright screen, its doesnt have the noise of a cheap unit, it has two HDMI inputs along with other inputs. I like the picture best with the saturation level set to about 90. Rich colors, and still a sharp, clear picture. Also very happy with their customer service. When you call, they pick right up and theyre very polite and very helpful. Im a real dude in Lexington, Ky. Not a fake review. DBPower deserves praise for this unit and for their service. Love this projector.

I’ve tried and returned 3 other units ranging from 100-200 dollars and this one was MILES above the rest in regards to clarity, range and ease of use. Was by far the most seamless when playing from phone to projector (casting and using a lightning to hdmi cord). extremely happy with this unit

As far as picture and built in speakers go this projector is great and is a big upgrade from my $1000 Optoma EH500 projector. I was also pleasantly surprised that the sound has an equalizer. However, i received an open box which wasnt even properly repackaged for resale. The box and protective foam were reaped and remote along with lens cover where just loose at the bottom of the bag. Also the remote already had batteries in it. With that being said, the projectors fan is extremely loud and has a buzzing sound with a screeching undertone to it, and because i received an open box i cant even tell if its supposed to be like that or someone previously returned the device because of a faulty fan. So unfortunately i will be returning it and trying a different product. Hope the seller takes note.
