> 3 dayI started with a cheaper projector, but I was disappointed with the picture and the noise. And also with the lack of inputs to connect to home theater system. After researching, I settled on this DBPower projector. And it was an excellent choice. You could spend a lot more money on a projector, but Im not sure what more you would get out of it. Or want. This projector has it all. It has a bright screen, its doesnt have the noise of a cheap unit, it has two HDMI inputs along with other inputs. I like the picture best with the saturation level set to about 90. Rich colors, and still a sharp, clear picture. Also very happy with their customer service. When you call, they pick right up and theyre very polite and very helpful. Im a real dude in Lexington, Ky. Not a fake review. DBPower deserves praise for this unit and for their service. Love this projector.

Greater than one weekThis is my 4th try at finding a good sub $300 projector that can be used for home theater and for web browsing. I use my projector to stream movies/tv as well as browse the web (windows pc, hdmi). The other 3 projector brands (also sub $300) worked adequately for movies/tv, but failed miserably at rendering clear and focused text. This was my last try, if unsuccessful I was ready to step up to the over $500 price range. Glad I gave this brand a try. Reason it did not get 5-stars: there is no User setting for contrast, brightness, or picture mode; you have to live with the out-of-the-box image settings.

> 3 dayUpdate: 7/10/2021 I bought another DBPOWER projector and hoped it would be better this time. The picture and sound quality are very high. Streaming from miracast still didnt work. It is incompatible with my moto g(7) power android phone. Fan noise is acceptable. This time it comes with a nice carrying bag, too. Some reviewers said they didnt get one. So it depends on the seller. Highly recommend. There is static noise in the headphone, even when mute. Screen mirroring didnt work for my Moto android phone. Fan noise is quite loud. Using the headphone port reduces the external speaker volume considerably. If you connect it through Oppo blu ray player, which is not supported, it will show no or weak signal. In the picture mode, the hue section grayed out. The remote is sometimes unresponsive when navigating the menu. On the other hand, I like the 4P Keystone Correction, which works very well. It shows a perfect rectangle from a side angle that remembers its shape and position every time it turns on.

> 3 dayIve now been using this projector in my living room as my main television for more than 1 year. I primarily watch it using my Roku Streaming Stick, but occasionally use the screen cast feature on my android smartphone. On average, I probably watch TV around 15-21 hours per week, and it seems to have held up very well. I have it mounted on the ceiling in my living room above the coffee table at a distance that yields around a 120 screen. Recently, some faint lines started showing up on the projected image after its been used for around 30 minutes or so. Aside from the faint lines, I have to say that this projector held up pretty, considering the abusing Ive put it through, having watched it consistently for at least 1200-1400 hours in the last 54 weeks or so. (If it werent for the lines showing up, Id have given it 5 stars). The brightness is strong enough for me to watch during the day, although its obviously a little washed out in the brightest light of the sun. The audio quality is okay - its loud enough for indoor use, such that I cant turn the volume past 20-50, depending on the source medium, but outdoors, its not very good. I tried watching this outside in my mothers backyard last summer and we couldnt hear anything clearly. You have options with soundbars or HDMI audio splitters that can redirect the audio to external devices, but that might be a bit too much effort/cost just to watch a movie outdoors and hear it clearly, depending on your circumstances. Overall, its a good product, a great starter / budget-friendly projector, and excellent for an affordable home theater.

Greater than one weekThis is probably the best projector you can get in this price range. Its quite bright with great picture quality and contrast, even in a moderately lit room (though of course dim light or dark is ideal and quite stunning). Something I learned today that made me write this review is that when I was doing weekly cleaning, I noticed it has a replacable filter for the air intake. Projectors I have had in the past did not have this and quickly accumulated dust. You do not want to have to take a projector apart and clean it. Its a pain, and you will never have the out-of-the-box picture quality again. I do not anticipate that being an issue here. The speaker isnt that shabby really, but I do recommend external speakers for a full home theater experience. ALSO. You can set picture settings when you are actually on a video input (e.g. at the Prime or Roku home screen). This was my largest confusion with this product as it is not in the projectors own menu.

Greater than one weekThe picture quality is excellent. I use a firestick plugged into it since its already set up. Sound is loud and clear from the projector, but a multi speaker setup might be nice also. The brightness ok ok indoors during the day, however you would have to close the blinds to avoid direct light. This is a good projector though.

Greater than one weekI love my new projector! The quality is outstanding for such a reasonably priced projector. The picture is extremely bright, a feature that is very important to me because I need to use the projector in a variety of background lighting conditions. I am so pleased that I can see the picture detail clearly even in a well lit room. The picture clarity and quality is outstanding. I found the projector to be very easy to set-up and operate. Using the projector is very intuitive and the menus are easy to navigate. This is a great product. You will not be disappointed!

> 3 dayI just received my DBPower FHD 1080P Projector, was excited to open it. After opening, the projector looks solid, and a quality design. Packaging was nice and I plan to reuse the packaging when storing the projector as the packaging was nice and efficient. I powered it up and it looks sharp! Excited to learn more of the ins and outs with outdoor movie nights with the family this summer! But my initial impression is very good.

> 3 dayDecent projector but you wont be using this outside until it is dark out. In the summer time here in the east coast dark is nearly 9pm I want to entertain before that. Oh well Im sure that is just projectors

> 3 dayWanted a projector for Halloween, bought a cheap one, terrible, complicated and got REALLY hot. I read a review on this projector and took a chance. Little more than I wanted to pay, but Im so glad I did. When I took it out of the box, I was immediately impressed with its appearance. Comes with a backpack style case. It was literally Plug and Play. Used a thumb drive. Picture beautiful, very clear, sound very good, and operation of remote is a snap. It does things that are far too complicated for me and Ill never use some of them. But thats ok. Got grown kids who will jump right on that! Love it, love it. So much fun!
