Greater than one weekThis is probably the best projector you can get in this price range. Its quite bright with great picture quality and contrast, even in a moderately lit room (though of course dim light or dark is ideal and quite stunning). Something I learned today that made me write this review is that when I was doing weekly cleaning, I noticed it has a replacable filter for the air intake. Projectors I have had in the past did not have this and quickly accumulated dust. You do not want to have to take a projector apart and clean it. Its a pain, and you will never have the out-of-the-box picture quality again. I do not anticipate that being an issue here. The speaker isnt that shabby really, but I do recommend external speakers for a full home theater experience. ALSO. You can set picture settings when you are actually on a video input (e.g. at the Prime or Roku home screen). This was my largest confusion with this product as it is not in the projectors own menu.

> 3 dayThis projector has a great resolution of 1080 p and the image quality is sharp and bright! It starts instantly with the remote and very easy to pair with your devices by connecting to your home WiFi. The build quality is superior. It took no time to cast my iPhone and Android devices using the casting software preinstalled on the projector. The YouTube videos are excellent quality with great built in sound coming from the projector. The projector consists of HDMI input and a hdmi cable is provided which makes it easy to connect any hdmi enabled device. The noise coming from projector lamp is very low and does not create a disturbance. I will highly recommend this projected and will buy again!

> 3 dayI bought this for outdoor movie nights for the kids. Went with this one for the brightness and color reviews. Its bright, and the colors look good. BUT THE AUDIO JACK IS USELESS. There is ONLY ONE WAY to connect audio to an external speaker, and thats through the 3.5mm headphones jack. The resulting audio level is far too low, even with the projectors volume at max, and the external speakers volume at max. I tried different cables, different speakers, I even had my friend whos a recording engineer for Audible take a whack at it. Its just completely underpowered and useless. DO NOT GET THIS PROJECTOR if you need audio along with the video. I tried going through technical support and they said it was probably a speck of dust blocking the signal. Even my engineer buddy had to laugh at that garbage answer. AGAIN -- stay far, far, far, far away from this projector. Completely useless without audio.

Greater than one weekI needed a brighter projector so I thought I would give this one a try. It is a lot brighter and now we dont have to wait until it gets dark outside to watch a movie. I like the wifi bluetooth and screen cast. So far this was a good buy.

> 3 dayI would have been thrilled if it was a 4K video projector of equivalent quality and same price but we aren’t living in the year 2025 yet so this is a fair compromise. The unit I received performed exactly according to the specifications listed. I found that I was in fact able to project movies onto my vaulted livingroom ceiling using this unit, which was something I’ve secretly wanted for over 25 years. I may take this on the road for use in a group presentation soon. I think it will work well for that.

> 3 dayTrust the reviewers saying the audio has a really low cap. The built in volume is loud enough indoors, but it goes no louder when you use a speaker device with it. The projector itself seems to cause a limit to volume for some reason. I tried ignoring that when I bought it. The screen was pretty dim, even with the lights off. Nothing compared to the brightness on my phone or laptop. Colors were pretty soft too even with different settings built to increase vividness. Casting was the real issue. Tried using my phone to mirror streaming services, but ran into the built in HDCP (digital content protection). No way around it. If you cant stream Netflix, Disney+, or Prime video, why even advertise that you can cast with your phone? Device is severely limited, but functional if you dont have much preference, hence my three star review.

17-04-2025Like the picture quality and brightness. Cant predefine which input the unit powers up with... defaults to a home screen, then you have to select the input (hdmi 1 or hdmi 2 etc.) with the remote. So far its been a great upgrade over the Epson 705 that it replaces. Time will tell if it lasts and is reliable.

> 3 dayUpdated July 9, 2021: Tech support saw my original review and proactively contacted me to upgrade their projector SW/Firmware. The upgrade fixed both the Aux-out volume (now we have cinema sound) and IOS mirror issue. I have adjusted the product rating accordingly. Now its a great projector which i would recommend you purchase/try. Thanks again to tech-support for helping me out. Original Review: Indoor video and sound is very good to excellent. Will test outdoors later and adjust rating as needed. Knocked off 1 star because IOS Mirroring did not work for me. Knocked off 2nd star because AuxOut to speaker lowered the external speaker volume. It does not seem to have enough juice from Aux out for the 2 different speakers I tried which eliminates cinema experience potential.
