> 3 dayI have this in my 280 SQ ft RV. Now to be fair, I am close to Houston, Tx, which is at the moment, 100% humidity outside. However, with the dehumidifier AND my 13,500 BTU RV a/c running, I can temporarily get the inside down to 55% humidity. When the RV a/c shuts off, the humidity immediately starts to climb with just the dehumidifier running. Like it will quickly get up to 69% humidity with the a/c only shutting off for like 20 minutes between cycles. Now I know that RVs are sealed up as tight as a home, so its to be expected to a degree, but this dehumidifier is supposed to be rated for an area almost 10 times the size of my RV. The only way I can see that being realistic is if this dehumidifier was in a very new, 100% sealed, energy star home with zero leaks. I personally would not use this dehumidifier for an area larger than 500 SQ ft max. If it is very humid in this location, like 100% humidity outside, I think I would limit its size to a 250 SQ ft room. Also in this environment in my RV, the tank fills up in about 8 hours and then it shuts off. So I have to empty it about 3 times a day.

> 3 dayI used this product in an isolated room that had been having a moisture problem. In a few days of use I could see a big difference in the smell and mold/mildew problem. I will continue using my Seavon with confidence!

> 3 dayI have an office room in our basement and this works perfectly for it! Absolutely love how small it is. It will probably take about a week to fill the reservoir with water

14-04-2025I live in an older house with a small bathroom that has no windows or vents. I decided it was time to get rid of the moisture. Got this little unit today and plugged it in immediately. Within a couple hours, these was about 1/2” of water in the reservoir. Great! But…the power hub that’s plugged into the wall gets VERY warm, and I’m not sure that’s ok. I haven’t seen any reviews about an overheated plug. So I’m concerned running this unit for very long and definitely not while I’m away from the house. I’ll keep testing it out since it does pull the moisture, but that cord concerns me.

> 3 dayI got this for our very small basement bathroom (probably less that 14 sq. ft). The water is so hot and the room steams up faster than the fan can accommodate, and the metal in the drop-ceiling was actually starting to rust. I mean, how can you say no to a super hot shower every morning, right?! So I found this. At first, I thought it would fill very fast, but it was slower than I thought. In letting it run from 8am-10pm, in two days, I get about a cup of water out of it (which is a lot for pulling out of the air if you think about it). I did notice that the mirror no longer fogged up with this running, although it wasnt enough to stop the moisture from dripping on the wall right next to the shower (partly due to splatter from the force of the water). It was originally whisper quiet, but after a few weeks, it sounds like a constant hum - like a medium speed ceiling fan. I now hear it when the bathroom door is mostly closed. So, although I wouldnt necessarily leave it on overnight in a bedroom, if you are one of those people who likes the smooth sound of a fan/white noise, you would probably love to sleep to this. Otherwise, Id recommend a closet or running it during the day. Very handy. I think its a good product. Super easy to empty. I wish the cord could be a smidge longer.

Greater than one weekIt helps keep the moisture off the windows and the mold from growing.( its cheaper then a space heater)

Greater than one weekBought this for my small bathroom with no ventilation. I take very hot showers and the steam is gone in no time! Incredibly effective for how little room it takes up on my counter. The only problem is you cant change the target humidity settings, so since I live in a humid climate (North Texas) it will run forever unless I turn it off manually. But I dont even care, it works so well

> 3 dayWe live in Florida where it’s highly humid, and we were really worried about mould in our home, and with this dehumidifier we’re now extremely on point on the humidity percentage of our condo, it catches so much water we’re in shock! We love it so much and it saved us from mould!

> 3 dayThis mini dehumidifier I got to place in the kitchen. It fits very well with other appliances on a small countertop. It’s design is sleek and compact. I have been using it now for over a week and it works very well. It is very easy to empty the collected water. I really like the fact that it makes very little noise as well. I highly recommend it.
