Very effective, but loud buzzing interferes with conversations, telephone calls, and tv when in same room. UPDATE- We have received a direct SEAVON response to our concerns about the noise from this machine. We are pleased to work with a company that is so consumer aware! Since we have friends who use this same machine very successfully, we are happy to exchange our machine for a new one as it seems this problem may be unique to our particular unit. We look forward to posting the results from the replacement!!! If the new machine is as quiet as our friends machine, we will be upgrading to 5 stars. Again, were so impressed with the companys initiating a solution!!!

I am pretty sensitive to white noise and while this does of course make noise, it is really very quiet. We also keep our home fairly cool in the winter (66-68 degrees) and the tank still fills twice a day even while operating at these less efficient temperatures. I also love the design in that it is sleek and compact.

This dehumidifier does its job very efficiently, markedly better that my last, not-to-named model. Though it has four corner rollers, there are no handles for lifting. This is no big deal because it is fairly light. I find that I have to worry the water tank back in place. This a bit annoying but after a few tries I am always successful.

I don’t like or dislike it. I live in a small apartment so I know this doesn’t work for the entire space but it seemed to help keep the room humors down if we kept all the doors shut during the day. Have to empty the water catch every 3 days or so. Will probably upgrade to something bigger though to fit my own needs

The humidity in the bathroom was high, but this device has done an amazing job of removing moisture from the air! It has made the air much drier and easier to breathe. Its portable size makes it easy to move to other rooms, and it always gets the job done. Although I wish it came with a timer to control the on/off schedule, its not a big deal and I would recommend it. Note that the second image shows water in the tank after 45-60 minutes.

Great quality, easy to use and quiet

This lil machine works well in that it can pull a lot of moisture out of the air. Im not sure id agree that this unit is the size for a 2000 sq ft area though. My home is 1724 sq ft and while this does ok in my living room, certainly isnt doing its job for the remainder of the house. I typically have to empty it at least 3x day. Its easy enough but can be a pain in the butt. The fan will run (quiet) but it is warm air. Lots of it too. I can do without that! It has a button to set the humidity level in the house but it really doesnt do anything. Remains at 50%. I do live in Florida but have a pretty well-built home. So, not great but the fact it is pulling moisture out of the air (remember, I have to empty the small container 3x a day), I guess its working well?

This mini-dehumidifier is very small and compact. It is portable and can be taken from one room to another. It extracts moisture from your air and is rated for smaller rooms. You empty the reservoir when it fills up and the air moisture would be lower and more comfortable. Some people also require lower humidity for certain applications. If you’re looking for a compact and portable dehumidifier, this is one of the smaller and more portable options.

This is a really nice dehumidifier. I notice a difference in air quality already. We were having a mildew and mold problem, so we needed this for after remediation. I Can tell a difference in when I pickup clothes and they’re no longer damp, the bathroom dries way faster, and the air Is clearer. It’s pretty quiet, too. Nice easy addition and I only have to empty every couple days. I definitely recommend!

Could not get a small closet below 75% rh. only filled the tank weekly. Could have been damaged by lack of packaging. Amazon pt it in a plastic bag, providing NO protection! Customer Service contacted me and has offered to replace my unit. I look forward to giving it another try. Updating score from 2 star to 4 star just for customer service efforts. Will update further upon receipt and further testing.
