Great display but DP cable that came with display caused screen to turn black intermittently. Doesnt appear to be properly shielded.

I like it and will keep it but a heads up I noted a difference from my old 4k monitor which was only 24 inches and standard ratio. I like the imersivness but with some games I miss the 4k

First off - this monitor is amazing. BUT when I plugged it in via HDMI from my Lenovo Thinkpad the resolution was unbearable. This is the same problem with any UWS HD monitor especially if you are using it for work (which I am). I searched countless articles and videos on how to resolve and nothing worked but I figured out the solution so Im saving others my pain. First my laptop is corp issued, under powered and locked down to the point that I cant download .exe drivers. To fix the problem I bought a Startech.com Display port adaptor which has a small GPU installed in it to increase the resolution (about $100 on Amazon). Out of the box the Startech solved the problem but I did have to install the Display port driver from Displayport.com, and thankfully display port offers 3 different formats for the driver including .MSI which bypassed my .exe block on my corp computer. The monitor works perfectly and is totally game changing. So if you are stuck trying to drive it with an old or underpowered laptop get yourself the adaptor - was literally plug and play out of the box with the driver install and the monitor is perfect.

This is my first curved monitor and I like it. I dont use it for games, but it works great for my everyday work station.

I was able to snag one from the warehouse for $300 it was like new but had one dead pixel in the upper center and also a stuck pixel on left side when black. It does have bad flickering with the freesync/gsync when the fps drops below 75fps. So games that only run at 60fps Ive had to turn it off for those games. Even though it does not have the best HDR it looks good to me even fire looks great. The colors pop for games like Genshin. Blacks do look black even though its not OLED. So if your on a tight budget and want a ultrawide and flickering does not bother you this may be a good buy for you!

This is a really great monitor. I picked it up on a Black Friday sale for ~$200. Because it was so cheap, I honestly didnt realize it was going to be so big! (which is not a complaint, the measurements are right in the title). I was replacing a small tv monitor that i had been using for work & gaming. This is a huge upgrade. Pros: - its not a weird widescreen resolution, so websites dont get stretched oddly - the stand allows for a lot of control on height and tilt, right out of the box. - Really good clarity and color balance without much adjustment - a simple cable management hole in the stand made all the difference in keeping my desk neat with a wired keyboard + webcam. Really a nice touch. Cons - It is VERY heavy once set up. It can be difficult to adjust on a desk because of that. If you have noodle arms like me, a second person might be helpful to have around if you need to pick it up and move it off the floor.

Very easy to set up - the hinged thumb screw and snap on base made it a breeze to go from unboxing to gaming. Great design and picture. Thank you Dell for lowering the price on these for holiday season and for delivering them ahead of schedule and just in time to get them under the tree.
