Perfect all-rounder monitor for gaming and productivity. For $200 this monitor is an absolute steal I suggest you get it now before its gone, I would even go as far as to say it is a great monitor for sub $300 price range. A great 240hz FHD monitor with up and downstream USB 3.2, with plenty of connectivity and a VESA mount. Most definitely a great bang for your buck jack of all trades monitor. I would jump on this deal if you dont mind getting a monitor under 27. It was exactly was I was looking for.

I tried the UHD 4K flat-panel version of this monitor in my dual monitor setup. Had to scale UHD to 175% to make the text readable for my older eyes. The flat panels, when angled to each other, were difficult to keep all areas in focus as well. This QHD 2.5K monitor at no scaling matches the pixel density of the scaled UHD. The gentle curve of this monitor removes the need for too much angling of the flat panels and keeps everything in sharp focus in all areas of the screen. I do complex software development and so need the real estate of dual monitors. Text is clear throughout. One drawback with these when used as dual monitors though. While the power button is still below the panel like on the UHD versions, the monitor settings buttons are on the back of the panel. So out of reach on the left monitor when used as dual monitors. Luckily, I do not need to reach the buttons often (for example, to switch the input source).

I had a 32 monitor which after three years went south. I wont name the manufacturer because the monitor was very good and I enjoyed the sharp text, etc., and I chalked most of the going south to our power grid. I retrieved my 27 ooolder (not a misspelling) monitor and used that monitor for 5-6 months. I finally decided that my old eyes deserved something better so I started looking for monitors From previous research I know that by and large Dell monitors are very good. I settled on this monitor and am not sorry at all. The text is very very sharp, photos (that Ive worked on - graphic designer) are very true to the original and in a couple of cases better and thats without any calibration. Im not a gamer and this monitor is probably wasted on me but . . . . . . I did give it 5 stars for gaming and as stated, Im not a gamer so take that into consideration. I kind of wanted a curved monitor (reason totally unknown except I thought they looked cool) and am not disappointed. I have to admit I think the curved monitor is a little over rated but then again Im using it 95% for graphic design work. Recommend? Yes.

First I will say that Im going off of Prime. The shipping is becoming to problematic with drivers taking hours breaks when youre next in delivery. The guy literally drive past my house and Im still waiting on the replacement to be delivered 5 hours later. This is not the first time this has happened, so were ending Prime as we order mostly tech. We can get this shipped to the Best Buy store or ordered for pickup and waste less time waiting for delivery to avoid stolen packages. That way we can just go get them when were ready, instead of sitting around half the day waiting for a delivery time in flux. Im doubting this will even get delivered tonight, so Im probably going to be doing the same thing tomorrow. --- As for the panel itself. Its a fine build quality. The colors are nice. The brightness is nice. However, the marketing is misleading as you will not get great results if you try to run this panel as Extremely Fast. There will be overshoot. It will be noticeable. So, forget about 1ms G-to-G response times. Youre going to be running 2 at best. My panel had multiple bright pixels in the panel. I had to queue up an exchange immediately. One Im sometimes good with, depending on location, but mine had like 3-4, and with any dark picture on the screen, they become VERY noticeable. The USB ports are a nice touch, and the varied placement is great. Works well with FreeSync and GSync. There are drivers at the Dell Website which installs the correct display profile for Windows. The unit ships with both a DP and HDMI cable. Not sure why they didnt put speakers in them. Sometimes I dont feel like wearing a headset (fatigue, etc.). At this price point... thats a curious omission. EDIT: Replacement monitor arrived with no dead or bright pixels. Household agrees we can let Amazon Prime go and just order our tech for Store Delivery with Best Buy. Allows us to get packages without staying up until 9-10PM when we have to be up for 5-6AM.

Pros: So this this monitor might have the best VA panel Ive ever seen. I game a considerable amount and I can honestly say this is a great gaming monitor! The black smearing which VA panels are notorious for are almost non-existent and I say almost only because I was intentionally looking for them! The response time is spot on, so much so that I dont notice it. The curve is perfect for immersion and if you are coming from a flat panel after a few hours you may not be able to go back to flat panels. The menu controls are exceptionally easy to navigate, the stand is sturdy, and the overall build quality feels very premium. Truthfully I cant say enough good things about this monitor! Cons: While there isnt much negative to say, nothing is perfect. There is a small amount of backlight bleed, but I only notice when I put a black screen on! Honestly if I had not done that I would never notice it. The stand is only tilt and height adjust, but I knew that when I bought it and personally I have no need for swivel and rotation. Other Thoughts: My previous two monitors had been a 144hz 1440p flat panel and early 35 inch 2560x1080 curved ultrawide and I dont miss either one of those. I could have easily gotten a 1440p curved display but with gpu prices going crazy with no end in sight and wanting to run game at a high refresh rate with high details I opted for 1080p (which still looks amazing even on a 27 inch display). I have zero buyers remorse and hope this review helps anyone on the fence in regards to this particular monitor. Also g-sync worked right out of the box and I only needed to make some very minor adjustments to get the picture I wanted.
