> 3 dayI bought this for my haven for Christmas and he seriously cried. It’s now June and he still loves it beyond words. Amazing for gaming and even school/office work. I’m so glad I bought this.

> 3 dayThis is a great monitor for the price. Is this as good as a 4K curved monitor with a high refresh rate? No. But it’s less than half the price of one and at it’s price point there is little to nothing that’s as good as this on the market. Great value for your money.

> 3 dayIm moving up to this display from a 24 1080P Dell I purchased in 2007 as a secondary display. My current primary is a 4K 60Hz 42 TV. The S3222HG is very nice. The curved screen is more marketing but STILL offers slight enhancement advantage as long as your head is at the focus of the curve. As a secondary display AND my PC on the left side of the 42 and the Dell being on the right side, the 6 foot cord is inadequate. I need at LEAST 10 more. Ill need to get a 10 foot to get the cord off my desk. One other small nitpick is the stand is so-so. My old 24 Dell stand is excellent. It has a more stable footprint and it is able to swivel and raise and lower. The S3222HG stand can not swivel. I plan on 3D printing an adapter piece so I can use the old stand. Otherwise I am happy with the display for the price. Paying the little extra for 165Hz, mostly for infrequent gaming, is a nice enhancement.

> 3 dayVery nice Monitor with a good picture. I have had some issues with the monitor locking down after sleep mode! Perhaps, I should not have ordered a like new return. Everything was in the box and in good shape but it might have been returned due to my stated issue!

> 3 dayI bought this to use for gaming as I recently updated my graphics card and wanted to game at 1440p and use the higher refresh rate of this unit. I wish it had HDR support but for the money that I paid, can not complain. Would recommend this monitor if you are upgrading from a 24 60Hz 1080p monitor like myself.

> 3 dayI had one monitor already for gaming use, but instead I used it more for video editing and music creation, in fact, I liked it so much that I decided to buy another to have dual monitoring capabilities.

02-06-2025Pros: So this this monitor might have the best VA panel Ive ever seen. I game a considerable amount and I can honestly say this is a great gaming monitor! The black smearing which VA panels are notorious for are almost non-existent and I say almost only because I was intentionally looking for them! The response time is spot on, so much so that I dont notice it. The curve is perfect for immersion and if you are coming from a flat panel after a few hours you may not be able to go back to flat panels. The menu controls are exceptionally easy to navigate, the stand is sturdy, and the overall build quality feels very premium. Truthfully I cant say enough good things about this monitor! Cons: While there isnt much negative to say, nothing is perfect. There is a small amount of backlight bleed, but I only notice when I put a black screen on! Honestly if I had not done that I would never notice it. The stand is only tilt and height adjust, but I knew that when I bought it and personally I have no need for swivel and rotation. Other Thoughts: My previous two monitors had been a 144hz 1440p flat panel and early 35 inch 2560x1080 curved ultrawide and I dont miss either one of those. I could have easily gotten a 1440p curved display but with gpu prices going crazy with no end in sight and wanting to run game at a high refresh rate with high details I opted for 1080p (which still looks amazing even on a 27 inch display). I have zero buyers remorse and hope this review helps anyone on the fence in regards to this particular monitor. Also g-sync worked right out of the box and I only needed to make some very minor adjustments to get the picture I wanted.
