Perfect all-rounder monitor for gaming and productivity. For $200 this monitor is an absolute steal I suggest you get it now before its gone, I would even go as far as to say it is a great monitor for sub $300 price range. A great 240hz FHD monitor with up and downstream USB 3.2, with plenty of connectivity and a VESA mount. Most definitely a great bang for your buck jack of all trades monitor. I would jump on this deal if you dont mind getting a monitor under 27. It was exactly was I was looking for.

Monitor wouldnt turn on at first. After calling customer support I discovered there is an extremely small power button on the bottom right of the monitor. Works as advertised

I needed a new monitor to connect to my home and work laptops now that I am working from home more. This monitor has enough resolution and screen real estate for my needs. I dont do a lot of gaming so I cannot comment on whether it is a good monitor for gaming. With 2 HDMI ports, I can connect both my work laptop and my home laptop to it (both laptops only have HDMI for external video) and program the buttons to be able to switch between them with realtove ease. This is not an ultra wide monitor, but for the price and what I use it for, this has been a really good monitor.

I had a 32 monitor which after three years went south. I wont name the manufacturer because the monitor was very good and I enjoyed the sharp text, etc., and I chalked most of the going south to our power grid. I retrieved my 27 ooolder (not a misspelling) monitor and used that monitor for 5-6 months. I finally decided that my old eyes deserved something better so I started looking for monitors From previous research I know that by and large Dell monitors are very good. I settled on this monitor and am not sorry at all. The text is very very sharp, photos (that Ive worked on - graphic designer) are very true to the original and in a couple of cases better and thats without any calibration. Im not a gamer and this monitor is probably wasted on me but . . . . . . I did give it 5 stars for gaming and as stated, Im not a gamer so take that into consideration. I kind of wanted a curved monitor (reason totally unknown except I thought they looked cool) and am not disappointed. I have to admit I think the curved monitor is a little over rated but then again Im using it 95% for graphic design work. Recommend? Yes.

First - the good news: Got this monitor on Prime Day after a LOT of research - reviews here, through online articles (PC Mag, CNET, etc.), and watching YouTube videos. I use it for work (business analyst) and in a graphic design capacity (hobbies). Its basically like having two monitors in one and the color, clarity, response time, and flexibility of the display was a huge upgrade from what I had been tolerating (Westinghouse 32 TV). The bad news is Im taking away a star b/c somewhere along the line, I was led to believe this monitor had speakers AND the menus and setup kind of lead you down that path as well. Sorry folks - no speakers on this monitor :(. Since the listing never mentions sound or speakers, I take full blame for making that assumption. HOWEVER - the monitor was automatically recognized by my laptop as an audio output device, was made the default audio device, AND the monitor has audio controls on its menu. So for a minute there, I was SUPER stoked! Alas, after a quick chat with Dell customer care, they confirmed that the monitor is speakerless... Overall, this is a GREAT monitor. Not much of a gamer but the ultra-wide format and the extra few inches made it seem like I was adding two monitors to my workspace instead of one. Plus, the extra screen real-estate in full-screen mode significantly reduced the need for scrolling in spreadsheets and design software.

So this monitor looks great! It plays games really well and has great color/saturation/brightness/etc. HOWEVER, I have some complaints. I ordered this monitor to replace an older Spectre one that was starting to get lines at the bottom. When I ordered it the first time I plugged it in and it looked great. Played some games and had fun with it. My PC fell asleep while I was afk and when I came back to wake it up, boom, the dreaded lines and a dead pixel popped up. This was the SAME DAY I had just gotten it. So I changed the DP cable to see if it was that and nope, it was in fact the monitor. I ordered a replacement and it arrived the next day. Im currently using this new replacement monitor and when I took it out of the box I had a few more issues. I ordered a new DP cable just in case and swapped it out beforehand. When I loaded up a game it started showing a bit of back flashing so I researched and finally saw it could be the NIVIDIA G-Sync. Turned that off and boom no more back flickering. Also would recommend turning down the sharpness as it can make some text look a bit pixeled. All in all its a great monitor for the price and looks awesome for games. If youre using it for 144hz make sure to have a Display Port cable or it will not get the max framerate. Also if you have some back flickering try turning off your NIVIDIA G-Sync. If youre willing to deal with a bit of issues its worth buying.
