03-06-2025Im moving up to this display from a 24 1080P Dell I purchased in 2007 as a secondary display. My current primary is a 4K 60Hz 42 TV. The S3222HG is very nice. The curved screen is more marketing but STILL offers slight enhancement advantage as long as your head is at the focus of the curve. As a secondary display AND my PC on the left side of the 42 and the Dell being on the right side, the 6 foot cord is inadequate. I need at LEAST 10 more. Ill need to get a 10 foot to get the cord off my desk. One other small nitpick is the stand is so-so. My old 24 Dell stand is excellent. It has a more stable footprint and it is able to swivel and raise and lower. The S3222HG stand can not swivel. I plan on 3D printing an adapter piece so I can use the old stand. Otherwise I am happy with the display for the price. Paying the little extra for 165Hz, mostly for infrequent gaming, is a nice enhancement.

> 3 dayI bought this too replace a cheap AOC monitor and it did not disappoint. It did have one dead pixel but I havent found a 1440p monitor that didnt have at least one dead pixel. The bezel is sturdy and well made I only wish it was possible to adjust the height

> 3 dayIt’s being good to work in different screens. Hard to do programing because the 1440 is not sharp enough. For gaming is pretty good(I could only get 100fps). Is being difficult to adjust everything to work in different games and systems but when you get it to work it is worthy.

> 3 dayI like it and will keep it but a heads up I noted a difference from my old 4k monitor which was only 24 inches and standard ratio. I like the imersivness but with some games I miss the 4k

> 3 dayAfter Burn-in streaking wasnt a problem on my monitor. However the 144hz refresh rate at full res and HDR needs displayport. Ive got it connected to a laptop with only HDMI out. The monitor is able to run it at 100hz and with HDR well.

Greater than one weekI bought this Dell Curved Gaming, 34 Inch Curved Monitor with 144Hz Refresh Rate, WQHD (3440 x 1440) Display, Black - S3422DWG and would be going from a 27 IPS screen to this VA screen. Reading about the differences I was expecting the picture on my new Dell to be a bit of a downgrade on how the colors would pop. I was willing to make this tradeoff for more screen real estate. However while there is a difference in the two monitors, as to be expected between any monitors, the color issue is nonexistent. This monitor, hooked through the display port, running at 144 HZ, on a 1660 super card is simply brilliant. I did a lot of youtube research before deciding on what model to buy and this one kept coming up as the best in its class as a VA screen. The next possible option was to go IPS and spend another $300-350. Im glad I decided to save a bit of cash and go with this Dell. Its bright, clear, with no dead or bright pixels. Sitting in front of the screen there is no fade as one looks to the edges. Also for a VA screen one can go quite a ways side to side before noting any fade in the picture. To me that is a nonissue anyway as Im always at the desk if using the computer. I was going to install it on my moveable arm but, the stand is so nice, and the monitor so big that I decided not to do that. Instead I used the included stand and it works great. My adjustable arm and old 27 were moved together to my old standby computer and are doing quite well there. The only issue I had was registering it at Dell. When I clicked on the link at their site to register it would only take me to their diagnostic tool that would determine what product I had. Heres where the trouble started as it would only scan my pc, not a Dell, and say my computer couldnt be registered. Duh, its not a Dell. So to register it to my Dell account I had to call Dell support and talk to a tech who completed the registration for me. Ive had it now for almost three weeks and couldnt be happier with my choice.

> 3 dayPerfect all-rounder monitor for gaming and productivity. For $200 this monitor is an absolute steal I suggest you get it now before its gone, I would even go as far as to say it is a great monitor for sub $300 price range. A great 240hz FHD monitor with up and downstream USB 3.2, with plenty of connectivity and a VESA mount. Most definitely a great bang for your buck jack of all trades monitor. I would jump on this deal if you dont mind getting a monitor under 27. It was exactly was I was looking for.

> 3 dayf youre looking for a high-quality gaming monitor that also doubles as a work monitor, you might want to check out this 1800R curved gaming monitor. It has a 21:9 aspect ratio and a 178° viewing angle, which means you can see every detail. With a WQHD curved monitor screen that provides a resolution of 3440 x 1440 on a 34-inch panel, youll get exceptional clarity that will take your gaming experience to the next level. For the work, at first using an HDMI with my MacBook Air was a disaster as it showing the content blurry and distorted. However, once I connected the monitor through the DPI port, it was amazing. Extremely clear! This monitor has a 144Hz refresh rate, so youll be able to see fast-moving visuals with impressive clarity, allowing for faster reaction times. It also has AMD FreeSync premium technology, which means youll be able to stay engaged during battle with swift, responsive, stutter-free gameplay. The tilt and rise options provides many combination of height and angle adjustment giving you maximum comfort, even during extended periods. I particularly loved that it literally took my 5 minutes to hook up. Unlike many other monitors, there were no tools required and the entire stand setup took less than 30 seconds! This is an amaizng feat and I cant thank Dell enough for thinking about the user friendliness of this design. Overall, this 1800R curved gaming monitor is an excellent choice for gamers who want an immersive and high-performing monitor. Whether youre an esports competitor or a casual gamer, this monitor can keep up with you, so dont hesitate to add it to your gaming setup or work setup or both!
