> 3 dayOut of all my tools, this one is used the most. It is like looking at the sun, and the battery lasts forever.

Greater than one weekNo complaints with the product. If you’ve got Dewalt batteries, this light will likely be of use for you. However, let’s discuss Amazon’s worsening packaging. The Dewalt box is not particularly big, but Amazon shipped it in a sizable box with just a few pillows. This has become a trend of late, and I’ve received quite a few damaged products as a result. Really wish they’d pay a little better attention.

Greater than one weekThis light has been improved over previous years. The one I purchased in 2021 does not have the red light that so many people complained about it. Instead it has replaced the red light so that now there is a bright mode in a dimmer mode essentially what people were asking for. The versatility of this light with the flex head and it’s ability to stand alone or comfortably be held with one hand or even suspended via a built in hook are all desirable features. In addition the light is extremely bright. It can light up a room and outdoors it can easily trough a wide bright beam 100 feet. This is a great light.

> 3 dayUse it everyday living out in rural area. Excellent distance of leds and paired with any AH dewalt 20v battery. I purchased because of all the 20v dewalt tools I already own so never worried about plugging into separate charger or battery packs.

Greater than one weekI got this flashlight to go with the recent purchase of a DeWalt 20V Hammer/Drill/Dirver. The unit itself (sans battery) is very light in weight, so when I first put it in my hand, I was a bit skeptical. Of course, after attaching the battery the unit gained considerable weight. The beam it throws is bright and very white. The center beam is focused, then there is a larger outer circle of light that is much softer. It would be nice if the lens were designed to turn and allow the user to refocus the bulb reflector configuration to best fit the situation. That being said, the beam it throws is very good and makes for an excellent all-purpose light. The head does swivel, but as one reviewer noted, the detents are not as ridgid as in some lights I have used, although under normal use the head will stay put. The light does have a loop for hanging that should come in handy if needed. The bulb draws very light battery power and the beam lasts for several hours. Change out of batteries is easy and secure. Over the years, I have found these combo lights exceptionally useful and this one from DeWalt should prove no different. A good product at a reasonable price point.

> 3 dayit works as intended, main reason i bought it i have multiple dewalt tools and batteries so just bought the tool. it is super bright has two modes bright and blinding bright, they did away with the hypnosis strobe effect on this light thank goodness, but dont expect this to be a automotive type light source no magnetic, not very positions it can attain, but it does what i need it to do

> 3 dayLove this light. Use it around the house mostly (and its fun to play with too, if youre into flashlights). Its plenty bright, but like all flashlights, Id like it to be brighter yet; Id like it to throw a spotlight beam 100 yards away, but thats just not realistic. ;-) Others have commented on the inner light being too bright and the beam being too narrow, while the outer circle of light is too dim; there is some truth to that. If you want just a spotlight beam (like I would prefer), its not that. If you want just an even, large circle of light, its not that either. But I think it is a nice compromise, with some of both qualities. Others have commented on the clicks used to position the head of the light at different angles being too easy or too hard, but I think the clicks are just right, not too easy, not too hard. One thing I wish it did was throw the light downward more, but the on off switch location prevents that. The light goes one click below horizontal and I think that will be sufficient for most people. The flashlight would have to be made taller to accommodate this (too leave room for the hand grip and switch), but this would just make the whole flashlight bigger and I like the compact size. Its 8.5 inches tall with the battery installed and the head pointed straight horizontally. Stands up nicely with the battery attached (battery NOT included) on a somewhat even/level surface. Nice hook to hang the light too. Seems quality built like most Dewalt products. As an LED, it should last a long time. All in all a nice light. I dont think you will be disappointed.

> 3 dayThis is an insane light! A little pricey, but you will get what you pay for. I live in rural, southern New Hampshire, where we lose power a few times a year--sometimes for a few minutes, sometimes for a day or longer. We put this Dewalt spotlight on our coffee table, pointing at the ceiling, and its like all of the lights are on.... even in a power outage! I even bought two more (I caught them on a good sale) for other rooms in the house. The 5ah battery lasts almost all day! I highly recommend this light!
