> 3 dayDeWalt is always a good product. My problem was the way the seller shipped it. Wasnt in original box. No packaging to protect it from the box they put it in. With it not being in a DeWalt box for gifting,I dont even know if it is a new product or not. Text the customer the same day I got it and still today I have not received an answer. Its a risky purchase

> 3 dayI use this Dewalt 20v Max every single night when walk out to close up my hen house. The area is not lit. This flashlight prevents me from tripping over anything from a forgotten garden hose to fallen branches. Its bright enough to light up the surrounding woods where its not uncommon to see coyotes, foxes, etc.. Using this flashlight inside the small building is especially reassuring. Before stepping through the door I can easily light up the floor area & even the overhead rafters to check for snakes. I can easily do a head count & then another scan to make sure no other types of critters are hiding out in a corner...opposum, raccoon, etc.. I like the rotating light head, the long lasting smaller flat bottomed rechargeable battery & the built-in ring for a lanyard. Its a practical flashlight. I recommend it.

> 3 dayI like it because I lost the one I had for years. Very handy and perfect for a wide variety of tasks. Just the right size, adjustable and the 20V Max batteries are great.

> 3 dayI bought this Dewalt DCL043 in mid-June of 2020 for $45 on a DOTD. I wanted to wait to write a review until I had an opportunity to use it in real-world situations. Ive used it about a dozen times now, so heres the TL;DR bullet point review: Pros: Super bright Seems well-built The pivoting head is very useful Sits on a floor or bench securely without tipping when sitting upright, or rolling away when the head is pivoted 90 degrees into a more traditional flashlight shape Long battery life even from my little 1.5ah batteries Did I mention its very bright? Cons: Its HUGE. Very, very large. Takes up quite a bit of space in the bottom of my 22-inch portable toolbox. Desperately needs selectable brightness modes! You have three options: VERY bright, useless dim red, and off. I would love to see this light upgraded with Hi,Med,Low settings! Using this while piled under the sink in a bathroom vanity was almost uncomfortable because of the overkill of light. Summary: This would have been a five star product for me if it had selectable brightness modes. I can even tolerate the excessively huge design, but man the lack of brightness settings is a bummer. Still, I love this light and Im happy with my purchase.
