> 24 hourIt is difficult to find crewel/embroidery kits - most are cross stitch. This is reasonably priced and not too difficult. Colors/design are beautiful!

> 24 hourI made this and it is a beautiful, stunning piece. Quite intricate and not for a beginner - it is counted cross stitch where you follow a coded pattern - the cloth is blank and not painted on, so as the title suggests, you count the squares. I will have mine framed eventually when I find the time.

> 24 hourVery nice design, it goes well with the other Christmas Winter Village designs. I wish they give you enough thread and why do they sometimes hide the symbol when they show the back stitching. That is very annoying. Same problem on my other Dimension Gold design

> 24 hourDimensions Gold kits are always top quality! Includes everything you need to stitch a beautiful counted cross stitch work of art. Yes, it can take a while to stitch one of these full coverage pieces, but the payoff is worth all the hours of fun stitching you’ll get out of these kits!

> 24 hourIt’s big, it took me a long time to finish, but it’s beautiful! It’s so far my most favorite cross stitch I’ve done! Highly recommend, just know, you’ll be up to the wee hours of the morning because you won’t want to stop!

> 24 hourA pleasant idyllic scene can be witnessed here, several faceless children skate among a surface of frozen liquid while onlookers look on in either awe or shocked disbelief. A dog tows a child attached to some sort of sled or metal gurney, lights are ablaze among the backdrop of houses, while oil or halogen lamps cast an eerie glow on the faceless onlookers. The amount of lights is questionable for judging by the light in the sky, this scene takes place during the afternoon, that or the gathering of a gloomy twilight. A thick blanket of snow encaps the land while unchained hounds search relentlessly for scraps. A developmentally disabled boy attempts to befriend a snowman in the back right, with shouts of daddy, why did you leave us?. Overall, I enjoyed this needlecraft, I found the half stitching technique to add an almost 8-bit quality reminiscent of a 1980s Atari game, I could almost hear the midi beat that would add a soundtrack to this strange amalgamation of misfits. As for the time period, I imagine it takes place sometime in the late Victorian/Georgian period up to present day. A good holiday craft project for the dexterous among you, I would rate the difficulty as above average/intermediate. I may tarnish it by leaving it in the woods for a number of weeks and place the results in a wooden box, I will then auction it on ebay as cursed antique needlecraft found in estate sale, using this technique I will gain 3 to 4 times the price of this stitching in profit. Good luck to the crafty out there, it arrived quickly and in the original packaging.

> 24 hourIm sure the final product will be really amazing, grogeous, but really time consuming and have a risk of run out of threads before you finish your balloon.. Ive already stitching for more than 90 hours( I count the time) but only fnished 1/6 of it.. not good for the beginner, even the intermediate level cross stitch lover, like me,also the needle included is not really good quality, I use my own needle when I doing this project.

> 24 hourMy only complaint is that the instructions call for some of the stitches to be done with 6 strands (!!) With 16 count cloth, its nearly impossible to pull that much thread through the fabric. Where 6 strands were listed, I amusing only 4.
