Im working on this particular design as I write. However, once again and twice before, some of the most used color threads in the Gold Collection counted cross stitch designs runs out before the area is covered for that color thread. Ive had to go to my DMC threads or Ive also called to get more of the color to finish the piece. This is a challenging, colorful and time-consuming piece -fun to do and watch developing.

This is a big piece and to needlepoint it you are going to need either huge stretcher bars and long arms or a scrolling frame. It’s well made with just a slight unevenness of paint at the edges that you will have to accommodate by choosing your top and bottom rows and sticking with them even when the paint goes above or below them. The threads are well labeled. You will have to do some thread combining to come up with all the colors. It will keep you busy for a long time. The colors are beautiful. The threads don’t fray. It comes with a needle and you’ll need to get needle threaders and sharp snips if you don’t have them already. I wouldn’t recommend this for a first needlepoint project because it will take you so long to complete. Start with something smaller. For the experienced needle pointer, this could be perfect. There are no instructions for fancier stitches. Everything is in basketweave unless you get creative.

Im new to cross stitch. Im about 1/3 of the way done. I just love the depth of the design and appreciate how well thought out it is. The pattern is complicated but not hard to follow if you count carefully.

I like landscape photos, embroidery etc. don’t have to worry about facial details. Just started this one yesterday. It will be my third one. I have completed two other ones. I like the size also.

I like the design as it gives a Christmassy feeling. I like it that the threads are sorted according to colour, making it very convenient. However, a suggestion would be to have an option to colour code the fabric.

Package arrive on time, everything is included, the colors are so nice, it looks sooo beautiful, I love this view, I just started it already, it has a very easy directions to follow, its not my first one to do as Ive been always a fan of a cross stitch designs, I cant wait until its done, framed and then hanging it .. I recommend it very much.
