I wouldnt necessarily suggest this for beginners. An 18 CT cross stitch is pretty tedious and tiny. BUT it is going faster than I thought it would, and the design is absolutely beautiful! Im not finished yet, but so far everything is going great, and the seller gave information about contacting if more threads are needed.

It says on the description when i bought it that it is stamped or there’s an outline on the fabric. I didn’t get one like that. My fabric has a cut hole which makes it hard to sew on.

I started this hobbie again last December and began this piece in March. I havent stitched in a LONG time, but jumped right into a challenge and this is a beautiful challenge. Time consuming and detailed but it all pays off in the end. This looks like a painting from a distance. I got loads of compliments when I posted a picture of my progress time to time. It was very satisfying to see it develope. NOT for the beginner, its pretty big and Id say 97% of the intimidating pattern is stitched. Due to the size from end to end and top to bottom my suggestion is to work out to an edge and try to frame it out (not every color but enough to know that your going to make it straight across). Hope that helps. Enjoy it, totally worth it if youre a serious cross stitcher.

Great piece of needlepoint to work on. It is beautiful and not too complicated to work on. I gotten many items from Demensions and they have all been great.

You will need a very sturdy wooden frame to keep the canvas tight while you work it as it is stiff canvas.

I love the scene its just really complicated and will take a long long time to complete! So Ill just work on it as much as possible.

I extended the side with all black floss to the edge of the canvas, creating a matt, and then glued it to a canvas and inserted it into a gold frame. Hangs on my sisters Tuscan house wall and looks like a painting. Cool.
