I thoroughly enjoyed this kit. It did take me about 8 months to completely finish it, but I really enjoyed every step and it turned out beautifully. Its a lot of fun, but definitely not for beginners. You will need to count and measure carefully, as there are some very complicated patterns with the colors. It definitely takes an eye for detail and it takes patience! But with those skills, you will really enjoy this kit! There is far more than enough thread to complete, and you will have plenty left over. I think there was only one color I feared I might run out of. The only issue I had was that I needed to buy my own needles. Parts of this kit require that you thread 4 threads through 1 needle, which was definitely next to impossible with the needles provided (even with a threader). I broke the needles that came with the kit, but luckily had some more on hand. I also bought some extra needles to use just with the 4-thread portions. All that said, I had a great time creating this piece, and it came out just as I expected. I cant wait to have it framed and display it. Highly recommended!

It is difficult to find crewel/embroidery kits - most are cross stitch. This is reasonably priced and not too difficult. Colors/design are beautiful!

An excellent product, though not for beginners as it is a gold collection cross stitch and requires the use of multiple types of stitches and knots as well as a large quantity different threads

Dimensions is a wonderful product for the more advanced cross stichers. There patterns are easy to follow and I love the thread sorting system

Very short of most thread. Called their office and they said they could only send 6 samples of what I needed but that I could purchase more from another site.. I will never purchase another of their kits unles I receive what I need from them. They should print that the buyer will have some of what they need.For what they charge the kit should be complete. I`m 80 years old and a very experienced needle worker.

I got this product through Amazon which I like their site and their acuuracy.The product is great, colors are really awsam and I enjoy working with this piece of art. Instructions are very clear all the threads are there.

Just started the project. The colors a bit different than on the drawing, and there is more outline stitching than I expected. Should still be unique and worth the effort. The original shipment had defective cloth that was quickly replaced with no charge. So far so good.

I purchased this item to make for my brother-in-law for a Christmas present in 2014. I have not started but it was shipped quickly and packaged well. I cant wait to start.
