> 3 dayI read a lot of the reviews before ordering and installing twelve of these numbers (3 lines of 4 each). All these complaints about the templates and checking allignment with the numbers are - simply - silly. In my humble opinion, anyone who found themselves with an allignment issue actually had a problem with their setup and drilling, not with the templates. The setup and drilling does require a certain amount of precision in order to get everything aligning perfectly. In my case, there was a challenge there as I was drilling into an uneven (stucco) surface. As such, I needed to exercise some persuasion (like another reviewer, a rubber mallet with cloth over the respective digit). That was sufficient to end up with a visually perfect installation. My recommendation: ignore all the comments about checking template alignments and questioning drill sizes. The directions are simple and clear enough, and all the technical aspects are correct.

> 3 dayThe peg to make the number “floating” when mounted broke off in the number 4. Very annoying.

> 3 dayJust what I wanted! Perfect size and installation was a breeze. They give you a template for flush mounting and floating! Better than any Lowe’s had! Love them!

Greater than one weekThe numbers look very nice after installation, just did not expect installation to take as long as it did. You will need to drill into the siding of your house unless you are placing them elsewhere. You are also going to need some type of clear caulking to keep the numbers in place if you plan on mounting the numbers to float. Once installed the numbers look great however, and will make your house standout from a regular number display.

Greater than one weekI’ve had my eye on these numbers for a while and finally had some time to swap our old ones for an easy upgrade. Love the matte black finish and installation was really simple with included install template and drill hole markers. I chose to float mount these, but they can also be installed flush to surface.

> 3 dayThese letters are beautiful when mounted, but installation can be difficult because of poor mounting hardware and instructions. The mounting hardware doesnt screw in readily to the numbers. I used a pairing knife and twirled it into the mounting holes to widen it and clear some thickness that obstructed the path of the screw. I dipped screws in oil to lubricate and then HAND tightened, gently turning it back and forth 20x until it finally eased in. Do not force or it will break. The template DOES NOT line up with the screws so line the numbers up yourself and mark new circles for your holes! (See photo). I used a 3/16 drill bit in my siding and the numbers appear firmly stuck in that size hole. I didnt feel the need to caulk because it seems stuck well. Good luck.

> 3 dayI loved it for my side driveway corner lot home. I mounted vertically on my limestone wall garage. In looks nice but 3 legs are broken from the numbers I got. I didn’t complaint but wished the stem legs can be better material and not broke when I received.

> 3 dayThese were a nightmare to install. My husband had to make three trips to Home Depot and he is very handy. If you want these mounted on brick, make sure you have the proper equipment. I even had to ask for a replacement on one of the numbers because the mounting screw broke inside the number. Oh, and we also had to spray paint them white (they were black originally) but that’s because you could hardly see them from the street. Now that they are installed they look beautiful but it was a pain for sure.
