I found a rustic looking wood board on clearance at HomeGoods to mount the numbers on. I forget what drill size I used but it was smaller than 1/4. I gently pushed the numbers in maybe about 1/4 inch deep because I wanted them to extend further out from the board. I then painted with white chalk paint and gave it a distressed look.

Great price for these house numbers. Much much more expensive at big box stores. Read the reviews and took my time hanging. Made sure used correct drill bit etc. Some of the templates were “off” so I retraced. Took me 30-45 minutes to hang 4 numbers and couldn’t be happier.

I liked the shape of the numbers, so ordered a set. Unfortunately, in order to mount it, one must drill 3 holes per number in the side of the surface...and the holes show behind the number. Not pretty. Too late to undo it, as the holes are there! I think it would show worse if one chose the floating method, rather than flush. Oh, and dont tighten the screws into the numbers more than hand tight...theyll snap off. No way to pull the bit out of the number. I just added more silicone to that area, and hope that the other 2 screws keep it snug. All of that aside, the numbers are very simple yet stylish and easy to read.

Great looking once installed, but mounting screws were a little difficult to put into the numbers. It seemed like the threads werent all that great on a few. Overall, they look good!

This is the second set of these house numbers we have installed. We have them on our AZ home as well. I love them! They’re affordable; attractive and installation is a breeze.

I loved it for my side driveway corner lot home. I mounted vertically on my limestone wall garage. In looks nice but 3 legs are broken from the numbers I got. I didn’t complaint but wished the stem legs can be better material and not broke when I received.

Great, modern-looking numbers. These are probably the nicest house numbers Ive ever seen that are reasonably priced. Took me five minutes to install them. The fragile mounting screw issue seems to have been fixed. Im assuming the screws used to be plastic and theyre now metal. I hand-tightened them and mounted them just fine. I bypassed the silicon and just drilled a 3/16 hole and they fit right in. The patterns lined up fine, its just that the mounting screws arent always at a perfect 90 degree angle from the back of the number, but its not far enough off to cause any problems.

I’ve had these numbers mounted on my home for 2 and a half years now and they are still PERFECT! They have held up amazingly and show no signs of wear and tear after years of harsh sun and elements. They’re extremely high quality and I get so many compliments on them. For a couple bucks per number, this is a steal!

Ive read a lot of reviews about these over the years and the consensus was that they were cheap and the mounting bolts were crooked and the instructions were bad. This review is written 11/2020 and I can reassure people that those issues are no longer a problem. I ordered 4 numbers...each of them were solidly made, the mounting bolts screwed in easily (do it by hand, of course) and the installation was fairly easy. Go by the instructions in terms of how to install. Earlier reviews said to ignore those instructions but they are more substantial now and the size of the drill bit you need to use is 100% accurate (earlier versions had smaller bolts and said to use 1/8 bit...only use that if you want to drill pilot holes). The proper size of drill bit to use is 5/16 Wiggle it around a bit as you go in and out to give yourself a little room. the 5/16 bit drills a hole that is SNUG but thats what you want with these. I didnt even have to use any kind of adhesive gel/silicone to keep them in. STILL DO NOT USE THE HOLES MARKED ON THE TEMPLATE. As others have suggested, place your number over the template (bolts down on the paper) and mark where those bolts hit with a marker or pen. That way, you know exactly where those bolts will hit for the drill holes. Tape up your templates with a level and ruler so they are even and straight, then use your punch to hammer in the marks where your bolts hit on the template. Give it a good pop for each one and then take the numbers down. Drill your holes and give it a little action as the drill goes in and as it goes out. Youll find that the fit is still tight but accurate. At that point, I went from one number to the next, just getting the bolts in place with the holes and then tapped them each in by putting a cloth over each number and using a rubber mallet to tap each bolt area of each number. Voila. Quick and easy and accurate. Took me about 15 minutes to install 4 numbers and again, I didnt need to use any epoxy or silicone to keep them in. Theyre snug and solid (I installed into wood so if youre going into masonry or brick, make sure youre using a masonry bit. The rubber mallet is the secret weapon here...you can get some pressure on the installation process without damaging the numbers or bending them. Just be sure to cover them with a wash cloth or something so you dont leave any marks. Overall very happy with these and the process itself. Even a novice could do it. Just take your time marking the templates with the bolts, take your time getting the templates level and the numbers spaced properly and youll be good to go.
