> 3 dayIt did the job! My heavy, solid wood front door was leaning some, causing it to stick pretty tightly above the door handle. I did not want to remove the whole door to fix it because its sooo heavy. There were big gaps on the lower part below the door handle and the upper edge hinge side. I used three layers on the lowest hinge, one shim in the middle hinge. I did have to trim with scissors the plastic to fit the shape of my hinges. Easy peasy. It took about a half hour to adjust and readjust to get it just right to realign my door correctly.

> 3 dayI have been fighting my front door alignment since I bought this house. Adding one of these shims to the bottom hinge really helped. Adding two was too much and pushed the door out of alignment in the other direction. Replacing the top hinge screws with longer screws that extend past the door frame (#9 wood screws, 2-3 inch length) fixed the rest of the alignment problems. the front door now works perfectly. The pack came with enough shims to let me work on all of the other doors in this house that are out of alignment.

> 3 dayWould recommend these over the cheap wedge shims. These fit perfectly behind the hinge and slide perfectly against the screw holes so they’re invisible when installed.

> 3 dayThese shims couldnt get any easier. And they worked perfectly for my job. Id buy these all day long then to have to cut them out from cardboard. I was done with the whole project in 5 minutes. My kind of job. These are a great value for the money for I have more then I needed, saves time, simple to use.

> 3 dayThese are easy to use for hinge shims, no need to revive the hints, just loosen then one at a time and side in the shim. This is an easy solution to adjusting the alignment of a door on the frame.
