Greater than one weekWorked great to shim my bottom hinge to align striker. Door closes smoothly now and didn’t significantly impact reveal.

> 3 dayThis shim is very easy to use. The jamb hinge screws only need to be loosened, and the shim slipped in place. Each shim is pre-cut to accommodate the screw pattern of the hinge.

Greater than one weekI bought a new house and very soon the front door starting sticking and would not stay shut unless it was locked. It had been installed by what is laughingly called professionals. I placed two shims behind the bottom hinge, one behind the next hinge up and none behind the top two hinges. Now the door opens easily and latches easily. Too bad the professionals dont know how to hang doors, but luckily the shims are available to home owners so we can fix the shoddy workmenship.

> 3 dayI had a door which never would close right. It was sticking at the top. I tried to sand it to no avail. I put these shims behind the top two hinges and the edge of the door and now it swings as it should and fits well.

> 3 dayFor months I stared at my front door. I hung a slab door myself and cut it a bit short. Everyday I looked at the door...and the gap. It was killing me! I was about to buy a new door to fix the gap. I came across this product and thought I would try it. It took me 10 minutes to install. It worked! I am so elated.

> 3 dayNeeded to level out our front door so it didn’t hit the jamb on the bottom when being closed.

> 3 dayGreat product. I bought these to level out the shotty work the home builders did when installing some of the doors in the house. Easy to install and adds just enough to not be noticable.

> 3 dayI got same model number shown but holes in picture are slightly different and I had to cut to make room for one screw but simple enough. I know many people just use cardboard or something but that will break down over time and result in possible damage due to leaving the hinge loose when it does. These are plastic and wont just dissolve due to weather etc. Only thing I wish is they made a variety pack. The 4 ones generally work for exterior doors while inside is generally 3.5. I have a lot of spares now as only need like 2 of each lol. Good thing they are cheap!
