> 3 dayThere are no instructions provided but its easy enough to figure out. Be sure to buy pressure-treated ground contact wood for 1) the swing set to last and 2) to keep the carpenter bees away. Also, its easier to stain the wood with a quality outdoor stain or sealer before you assemble it.

> 3 dayIf you follow the instruction and purchase the correct lumber you’ll have a very sturdy swing-set frame in 20 minutes.

> 3 dayUpdate: 18 month later and after much fun we moved. When we went to disassemble the set the 4x4s just fell out of the slots. The bolts have rusted and broke. We love this set enough that for re-assembly we bought the middle type bracket to expand the set, but we are headed to the hardware store to get bolts that will last. We live in Florida, so with constant rain and humidity it’s not surprising to have things rust faster than normal. I’m keeping it at 5 stars because the brackets are great, but keep an eye on the bolts. I bought these this week and set up the swing set today, so this review will be based solely on assembly. Everything that I needed to set up the A frame was included except for the wood of course. The 6x4 was a tight fit as others have said. Mostly the corners were snug going in, so I sanded the corners and it slipped on easier. Toward the end I still had to bang it on with a mini sledge hammer and wood between to soften the blow. All the hardware was present and worked great. We put the wood in the slots, drilled holes then added the bolts. Once the 4x6 was in place we added the swing hinges before the 4x4s to make assembly easier. I also sanded down the wood to prevent splinters in little hands. All in all it took 6 hours to complete including the trip to lowes for wood, sanding, assembling, digging. At first we let it just sit on he ground, but there was some lifting of the posts, so we buried them about 6 and will get the anchor kit. I would recommend this as I feel it is safe and sturdy for my kids to play on. Im 130lb and felt comfortable swinging on it. I took it as high as I could go to test it and there was no sign of safety issues.

> 3 dayIts great...one of the lagbolts broke though, even though I did make pilot holes first. Maybe it went into a knot still, but it wasnt a bunch of force that broke it. Other than that one issue, i only wish I came across this sooner and made a swingset for my kids years ago.

> 3 dayAll the negative comments about the lumber not fitting are ridiculous. There is nothing wrong with the brackets. Your wet wood is the problem. All you need do is set the wood outside in the sun for 2 weeks and let the moisture evaporate out of the lumber. If you buy it during bad weather, leave the lumber in your heated house for 2 weeks. If you remove wood from your wet lumber in order to make it fit, when it dries and shrinks, it will be too loose in the swing sets brackets. My lumber was a little too to tight right after I bought t it, so I set it outside for 2 weeks and tried again. It all slid right in. There is no excuse for beating on the brackets with hammers like some people do. These brackets were not designed to be abused by beating on them. Also, be sure you anchor the legs to the ground. There have been deadly accidents due to un-anchored swing sets tipping over. You may not believe it could tip over since it is so massive. But they have. Read about swing sets killing children on the Internet. So dont be lazy. Any swing set should be anchored..

> 3 day***UPDATE*** I have changed my review from the 3 stars to 4 stars after receiving the replacement. I was able to get another good one out of the new box and after measuring one of the new ones, it was also smaller than the 3.625 they claim it to be. That being said putting the swing together was super easy and it looks great. I would highly recommend that you have a power drill though to run all of those lag bolts in because there are a lot of them! My DeWalt was nice and warm after putting it all together! We went with a 12 beam on the top and 8 legs but we are thinking of changing the legs over to 10 just to give us more room for the swing arc, assuming we dont get a letter from the HOA...so we might just hold on to the 8 as well! The thing is super sturdy but does need anchored to the ground if you are going to get crazy on it! ------------------------------------------------ I figured I would write this caution and I will for sure update this after I receive the replacement. But as you can see in this photo, the piece is not made correctly and is only 3.25 wide at the bottom and 3.625 at the top which is the measurement that they claim on their website. Since the final cut of a 4x6 is 3.5 x 5.5 if it was made correctly it would slide right on. And the second piece in this kit did just that....it slid right on without any issues at all. I have seen a lot of people saying they needed to soap up the board or push it on with a hammer, etc but being 1/4 under size is obviously a problem with the manufacturing of this piece. Amazon of course is making it right and sending me another one out and I sure hope at least one of the pieces is the correct size because we have some kids that were excited to have a swing set up and now they are learning some patience!
