> 24 hourThe smart switches work as expected; but the connectors dont make enough pressure on the wires; so they come off easily.

> 24 hourFunctions perfectly so far...But it is to big for a standard US wall switch junction box if you want to keep the original manual switch in place as I did. I had to use a hole saw to make a 2 cut out in the box in order for it to fit.

> 24 hourOrdered these remote switches to control my Backyard Pool Lamps with Alexa. Easy to install, detected my wifi, and works perfectly with my Alexa. I use the smart life app for all my other switches, plugs, garage opener, lamps, fans, so this went pretty smooth. The switch is about 85 feet away from my wifi extender in a sealed plastic junction box ( 8x 6 x 3) and detected quickly. I would not recommend using the connectors that come with it, they just slip out and wont hold (dangerous). I used the more reliable standard twist wire connectors. Im going to install one for the pool light.

> 24 hourI bought these to install in place of (non existent) physical switches that an electrician said would cost $200 each to put in. Took a bit of manual labor, cutting conduit and splicing wires, but all is good, and they work like a charm! I dont understand why some people say the instructions arent very good. I followed the instructions, and got it set up and running the first attempt. Maybe its because I already was familiar with the smart life app? I dont know. But dont let those reviews sway your decision. Theyre easy to set up, and work great. Oh, and I didnt have any issue with my dual band router. I did not have to set up a guest network, or shut down the 5Ghz side or anything. Just plain easy and strait forward setup.

> 24 hourCutting wire to install this device was weird. Wanted to use it on wall mounted switch but did not work. Trying to repurpose the devices.

> 24 hourNice product. Instructions are clear and the item itself can be integrated easily. The working principle is also described very well.

> 24 hourI bought this because I wanted to see if I could control my new pool light using my Amazon Alexa. I had recently changed out my light to a 12” Pool Baron nicheless LED pool light, so I needed something that would switch both the hot as well as the neutral lines at the same time. More importantly, I needed something that would be powerful enough to be able to pick up my wifi while being installed in a metal circuit breaker box located outside of my home. I chose the eMylo because they use the Tuya WiFi module, which is supposed to be the best as far as strength. The breaker box is outside, is 100% metal (with a 2nd metal cover that covers it), and is about 40-50’ from my WiFi router. I had tried others but they could not pick up the WiFi once the breaker box cover was closed – the eMylo was the only one that worked! I changed out the regular on/off power switch to a DPDT on/off/on switch so I could turn the light on manually if needed, but thanks to this switch I am able to use the Alexa with the Smart life app. Sweet! I had also had some concerns early on and eMylo was very good in helping me out. Five stars!

> 24 hourIm using this for small projects. It works great and is easy to use, but a few things Id like to note: 1) DO NOT PUT THIS IN A WALL OR OUTLET BOX, PUT IT IN A PROPER ENCLOSURE 2) PAY ATTENTION TO HOT/NEUTRAL AND TEST IT WITH A MULTIMETER 3) WHEN IN DOUBT, ASK, DONT GUESS - this does not have proper certifications and should be considered dangerous to use, if youre unsure of how to use this safely for your application, ask!

> 24 hourIt does have 2.4 or 5Gz. Works but sporadically even with a wifi repeater within 40 feet. This unit has very poor reception as compared to other Wyze wifi plugins.

> 24 hourDoes what I needed, which is to control an outside light. The app is flexible, and works with a bunch of other devices, although it doesnt appear to support any kind of dimming. Couple gotchas in the setup: Most notably, the device is only 2.4GHz WIFI. If your home WIFI is the same name for both 2.4 and 5, you may need to turn off 5GHz while you pair this device (if you have myhome and myhome-5, just make sure your connecting to myhome and itll work). The app sends special packets over the network youre connected to, that the device will see even if it isnt connected, as long as it shows up on 2.4GHz. In the event of a power-outage, the device seems to default to ON, rather than off, or the last state. In my case this perfectly acceptable, but in some situations probably isnt ideal. My only other complaint is none of these devices are UL approved, as others have said, but that testing is very expensive and time-consuming. Im happy overall, and will likely be getting some other components to control other devices.
