I could not get this to work. It kept tripping the GFCI on the circuit. Installation was easy and the setup looked pretty straight forward if it ever got power before tripping the GFCI.

The product works exactly how it should. Other than the fact it wont fit in a standard 4x4 box the only complaint I have is the connectors. These things are cheap and the wire pulls out pretty easy. I took the end caps off and used some 12ga thhn wire and hardwired mine with the set screws inside.

Cutting wire to install this device was weird. Wanted to use it on wall mounted switch but did not work. Trying to repurpose the devices.

Had to try several times to get it to hook up to my Wi-Fi but finally got it working. So far, seems to be stable and works with the App and Alexa.

I followed the instructions very carefully, but ultimately I gave up trying to get this switch to connect to WiFi. In setting up the app I was told I could sign in for a “free” account. However, the free account required that I input all my credit card information. Is this a scam? To further annoy me, during the periods where I was waiting for switch to connect with the app, I was presented with pop up ads to sell me other products. Very disappointed in this switch.

Installed one in the attic for the attic fan. Works great, easy to set up. I use the tuya life app and it connected first try. I have many different smart plugs and devices that all work with this app. Anyone who struggles, know that it must be 2.4 gigahertz wifi connection and a password for the Wi-Fi cannot be too long. I cant remember how many characters. I setup a guest Network for all of my smart devices so they could have a shorter password.

Once I actually followed the directions to the T. it works like a charm. You have to make sure you are using the 2.4GHZ setting on the modem and it works perfectly. Initially it was attempting to connect to a 5.0 GHZ signal and it failed every time. Has been working daily now with no issues for over a month now!!

Ive been using these for years. For years they were always the hardest device to get back online after a router reboot. I ended up changing them out for TPLing / Kasa devices.
