> 24 hourTwo of the four units failed after a firmware update on the night of install, but the seller/manufacturer immediately shipped two replacement units as well as corrected the problem at the Firmware writers end to ensure that the problem would not be repeated. Great product and fantastic support. My advice for anyone else, do not do a final install until they are set up in your wifi network and updated just to be sure, having to swap out two units that were installed in ceilings was a bit of a pain, but not worth loss of a star when the workaround is simple.

> 24 hourUpdate.. 4 days in , power to switch got shut off and turned right back on... 2 units reconnected 1 did not, checked for power nothing coming out... waiting to see how long the others last! Great little gizmo’s just a bit tricky intergrating to the wifi, i never checked my router output. Purchased one and got rid of cable provider one and all is good

> 24 hourDoes what I needed, which is to control an outside light. The app is flexible, and works with a bunch of other devices, although it doesnt appear to support any kind of dimming. Couple gotchas in the setup: Most notably, the device is only 2.4GHz WIFI. If your home WIFI is the same name for both 2.4 and 5, you may need to turn off 5GHz while you pair this device (if you have myhome and myhome-5, just make sure your connecting to myhome and itll work). The app sends special packets over the network youre connected to, that the device will see even if it isnt connected, as long as it shows up on 2.4GHz. In the event of a power-outage, the device seems to default to ON, rather than off, or the last state. In my case this perfectly acceptable, but in some situations probably isnt ideal. My only other complaint is none of these devices are UL approved, as others have said, but that testing is very expensive and time-consuming. Im happy overall, and will likely be getting some other components to control other devices.

> 24 hourBecause I planned to use my unit in multiple locations I decided to mount it in a project box to avoid over stressing the pigtail leads. Now I can just plug it into any appliance or light and switch it from one light to another. The box prevents my grand kids from fooling with wires also. I downloaded the software and it installed without a hitch and it works perfectly every time.

> 24 hourHad a fluorescent kitchen light with the switch located across the room from where we normally enter the room. Not able to rewire a three way due to structural issues. The product easily solved that problem and allowed me to program a schedule as well.

> 24 hourI bought these to install in place of (non existent) physical switches that an electrician said would cost $200 each to put in. Took a bit of manual labor, cutting conduit and splicing wires, but all is good, and they work like a charm! I dont understand why some people say the instructions arent very good. I followed the instructions, and got it set up and running the first attempt. Maybe its because I already was familiar with the smart life app? I dont know. But dont let those reviews sway your decision. Theyre easy to set up, and work great. Oh, and I didnt have any issue with my dual band router. I did not have to set up a guest network, or shut down the 5Ghz side or anything. Just plain easy and strait forward setup.

> 24 hourThe install went great installed 3 in less than 15 minutes. Had to cut up about 3 cords but in the end it made them smart cords. Had sonoff switches before this, these make me feel a lot better because the high voltage lines dont come as close as the sonoff switches do. The app connects to Alexa perfectly and changing the name of the device on the app immediately changed it on amazons side allowing me to start turning off and on my lights with the correct name.
