These cameras are good but very inconsistent in motion detection.

Was expecting 6 months of battery but got 4 months. This camera is by the door we come in and out of regularly so it did get a lot of active time. I still recommend.

We love our Eufy home security system. We purchased the doorbell camera and Base and a separate outdoor camera based on a friend’s recommendation. We are extremely satisfied with the coverage it provides, the ease of use and that this system requires no monthly subscription

Added some more for lakehouse as I’m not there often. Easy to connect to home base!

Was a little difficult to set up sensitivity. Customer Service was great though. Battery life is not what is advertised. Charged fully originally have two cameras the most active had to recharge twice in 3 months. Other one is still going on the first charge shows 56% Also at night it detects motion by default, so am picking up cars in the street. Would be great to just pick up people like in the day time.

Overall, this security camera has good quality. One great thing is no subscription fees needed like Ring. Everything is saved locally to eufy Homebase. It even supports RTSP to allow you to save the video to your NAS. One thing we do not like is that it will not allow us to turn off the alarm or at least silence mode.

Stopped giving notifications after 2 months of use. Useless now unable to fix or get my $ back. Don’t buy these

I have “4” of these cameras and would return ALL if my main base and doorbell were not a gift from my kids. Basically zero motion is detected if you are more then 6-8’ from the camera. I’ve set the detection on “7” (highest alert) and people access my property ALL day long for deliveries etc., and the cameras DON’T detect them at all. The doorbell will pick up a human ONCE they access my porch, but no other time. I get random notices that a human was detected and there’s nothing on the screen. The videos randomly dump and clear WITHOUT human intervention. The only good thing I can say is good lenses and no service. These camera’s suck on motion detection!

Ill get straight to the point. Here are the Number of Inaccurate And Misleading Statements In the Description: 1. Up to 6 Months Battery: The Battery does not last 6 months, not even 2 weeks. 2. Ability to set zones: The Zones set up is a rectangle and completely useless depending on where you are attempting to cover. 3. Smart Motion Detection: Every time a car goes by at night and the car light flashes into the camera, the notification goes off. This is terrible, especially when trying to get some sleep. 4. 2K Camera: The recordings/photos looks like something from the 80s VHS, this is nothing 2K and a complete and utter lie. Amazon should remove this product or ask the company to change the text. It is not 2K, not even HD. The images are blurry and the recordings are distorted. 5. Notifications: By the time you get notified, someone has already entered and left your house, sometimes nothing is capture at all. Stay away from this Camera.
