> 3 dayJust wanted to counter some of the negative reviews. From my experience, this is a great product line. I have three 2c units, a wired doorbell, and an indoor camera in my garage connected to a Homebase unit. Very pleased with the overall performance. Yes you need to periodically charge the wireless units and there can be some false alarms such as windy days triggering the motion sensor. But I rest easy knowing I can rely on these units to notify me of activity around my property. Also, helpful keeping an eye on my pooch in the backyard. The app is very good, there are no ads associated with my view of my devices.

> 3 dayI cant speak to the quality of the product because for some reason I didnt see this as an ADDITIONAL camera. You have to have the home base package to go with this product for it to work. So for me, Im very unhappy and will be returning.

> 3 dayWith this system, there is no monthly fee. You put the app on your phone and you get a notification when the camera senses movement and will give you face recognition if the person is in the viewing field of vision. I originally bought two cameras and a home base, but then added a third camera for my office, but keep it off unless we’re going away.

> 3 dayDont buy any of their newest cams. Home base 2 is a ripoff downgrade they are trying to sell as the best thing ever. No battery backup for clips, only 16gb internal storage and no expansion. This cam works with home base 1 but its terrible. Eufy has long promised their AI cam detect human vs everything else and none of the 8 cams Ive had from them have delivered. After 100s of dollars and dozens of hours spent installing removing rebuying and returning their junk, Ive just stuck with them because the cost and hassle to switch would be enormous. This thing wont detect any motion forever and then says everything is a person. If you move the detection lower to get less alerts youll get nothing. Bump it up even a few notches and rain drops or specks of dirt and definitely passing cars will set it off dozens of times. For supposedly 2K the picture is not great. This thing has a spotlight that is also useless. Not very bright and will drain the hell out of the battery. I had 2 eufy indoor 2k cams and the picture was amazing but the pos things would not stay connected to my internet even after upgrading to a whole home mesh system. Please avoid eufy entirely, especially this over priced low quality cam.

> 3 dayMy eufy 2c had the same issue where it will show 40% then few min later drop to 20%. I used solar panel on that one and didnt notice till I took off the solar panel. Which is out of warranty now. 2c pro has the same issue where (see pic) the battery drops 20% and i have to constantly charge it once a month. Eufy said i have check it and send logs agains to see what is causing the issue. So basically I have to check each day to try to get a replacement. It is either defective battery or software. Wouldnt recommend it for now. Also has the issue of only recording 20 sec when i set recording to 1 min. I have a ring next to this camera as i was switching all my ring to eufy bc of subscription fee. But now stopped. Looking for other cam systems if they cant fix the issue. 20 secs of vid sometimes it is only 5 sec. I have mesh wifi and the camera is 10ft away with 90mbps.

Greater than one weekWe have had the Eufy doorbell for a year - got it after getting tired of our Ring doorbell which had terrible picture quality. We recently decided to increase surveillance around our house and ordered two additional cameras. They paired so easily with our existing unit and I love that there is no monthly fee. The camera clarity is excellent. We are still fiddling with the activation distance, but that is easy to modify. I would definitely recommend Eufy and would buy it again!

Greater than one weekI purchased the Eufy 2C kit with 4 cameras in August 2020. Then 2 weeks later, I purchased 2 more cameras, and their wireless doorbell camera. Everything has been working well for about 6 months. Then it stopped being able to differentiate between humans, dogs, even our American flag was being detected as a person. But, we made the best of it. Then, exactly 1 month after my warranty expired, the doorbell cam stopped accepting a charge. I asked Eufy for replacement, and they denied me (response from Eufy below). So I went back to Amazon and spent another $120 on a new wireless doorbell camera from Eufy. It connected, but thats when we realized we werent getting any notifications anymore from any of the cameras, we looked at the app and noticed nothing was recording for approximately 2 weeks. Then I went to the update log and noticed that on September 30, they pushed an update to my homebase 2. Thats when it stopped detecting motion and recording anything. I have tried reconnecting numerous times. I cleared out the data on the fixed internal memory, but that didnt help. From the app, I was unable to make any settings changes, as I would get Fail to request (6) error. Upon researching that error, I found suggestions to remove the homebase 2 from the app and start over. I did that, but now it just goes from red to blinking blue, and never goes stable. I checked my router, and it is connected at 100MBps, and is getting an IP address of 192.168.254.81 (the previous IP before it stopped working was 192.168.254.80, so I know its talking to the router). But the homebase 2 will not connect. I have been spending hours today reading through community forum posts, and the ONLY people that have resolved this issue, are customers that Eufy (Anker) warranty replaced their homebase 2. After they got the new one from Eufy (Anker), it started working. This company obviously doesnt care about its customers at all, so I really dont want to give them even more money. But Im already so invested into this system, that I decided to look and see how much a new homebase 2 unit costs. Guess what? You cant buy one. You can only buy KITS with MORE cameras OR home security. So I either throw this all in the garbage and spend another $1000 on a different companys system, or I spend yet another $165 on one of the kits, just so I can get a homebase 2. I reached out to customer service and offered to write this review on every single ad they have on Amazon until they either replace or repair this unit, OR I get tired enough of typing, or I feel like I got my $1,020 (and Ill probably spend another $165 on Monday and get that stupid kit, just so I can have my cameras working again, which is really bothering me). So I just HOPE that my review helps at least ONE person to choose another security camera provider. Oh yeah, Ive also been a premium cloud subscriber of theirs for the past 13 months. Heres the response from Eufy/Anker customer service MANAGER: Dear Scott, This is Shane, Customer Service Manager of Eufy. Our apologies again. We would like to try to make up for the disappointment in this situation, as we appreciate that you have had this product a long time and really enjoyed it. While there isnt anything to be done about the warranty, I am able to offer you 20% off the original price for a future purchase of another Eufy product valued at $200 or less. Just send me the order number from your next purchase and I can issue 20% back once the order has gone through. Please order it from our official store in order for us to process the partial refund. Hope you take advantage of this offer and give Eufy products another chance. Wish you the best in your future purchases!
