Greater than one weekWorks well for an area with low activity! The light does seem to provide ample brightness in the dark for a small area. I can’t attest for long distance lighting. Detection seems to work better than eufycam 2.

> 3 dayI have ten of these cameras keeping an eye on my home and property. They are very clear and the batteries last for months. The hub has a fairly long range as well. I live on one acre and my hub reaches cameras well outside my homes foot print.

> 3 dayIm extraordinarily angry that I purchased this, because I wanted a local storage option that will stream the feed to my phone on demand... These cameras DO NOT deliver that basic selling point, storing your footage on the cloud without even being secured by encryption. Misrepresentation of the product entirely.

> 3 dayAfter having a disappointing experience with Ring doorbell, I decided to switch to Eufy. While the RIng wireless camera was fine (just the separate doorbell was problematic for me), I didnt want to keep paying the Ring subscription so I went 100% Eufy. Im very happy with the quality of the 2C Pro. Excellent image quality, very fast motion alerting (including differentiation between a person or general motion). Even with motion detection on almost all the time in a fairly active driveway (5+ people in household, all driving age) the battery life is great. Im regretting the money I paid to Ring for their cloud service. Eufy has no such fee and everything is stored locally rather than on a remote server that I do not own that is susceptible to security breaches. In the several weeks Ive had this camera in service, Eufy has made improvements to the app UI and added features, which is appreciated.

Greater than one weekso I did a lot of research on cameras for our weekend home, and looked into Arlo, Ring, the other brand names and even professional installation, and I got swayed by the mostly positive reviews. My neighbor said go with Arlo system which he uses. I decided to go with Eufy and man I am really regretting it. The product is easy to install , cameras seem fine and when I am at the house, with my phone and everything under the same WIFI , it works great. But I really didnt get the cameras for when I am home, I need them to check out the property when I am away. Well guess what, the communication to be able to see the cameras from the phone from anywhere else unless I am home using the same WIFI will not work. I have tried every thing, have been on the phone with EUFY support for hours on end, and it will not work. I have rebooted the home server, the phone, the cameras, everything, and sometimes it will work for a few seconds on just one camera, but most of the time it will not connect. After spending countless hours with the clueless support staff, I came to the realization that these are just garbage. I know my wifi is working and signal is super strong as I have checked with infinity and my other devices, so it is definately the cameras and the whole system. Please, do not make the mistake, go with ANY other system you can find but do not bother with Eufy. It sounds great that you dont have to sign up for a monthly plan, but if the cameras and system dont work, what good is having cameras when you cannot see them when you are away from home. Steer clear, you have been warned.
