I have been using two of this cameras plus their home base (as a package) for about a year. I had the system integrated with HomeKit and Alexa. Now I just order this another camera thats supposed to be compatible with existing home base. The new camera pairs with existing homebase easily and Alexa discovers it at the same time without my doing anything. But it wont show up on my home app (Siri, HomeKit). This model specifically says its HomeKit compatible. The paper manual it comes does not say anything about HomeKit pairing. When I reach out to eufy, the support is very dismissive of HomeKit problem and that I need to contact apple and they will not even hear anything about HomeKit. They offer to send me a page on their website on how to make it work. When I protest that they should not sell HomeKit compatible product if their attitude is we dont support apple system, she then says that you might have remove everything and start from scratch. Stay away from this camera if you want seamless integration with HomeKit (apple eco system). I now removed homebase from apple home app and tried to re-add and I cannot even restore it to previous working condition of 2 cameras. I am going to return this third camera.

Overall, Id give the Eufy 2C pro SYSTEM a solid 4.5+ (out of 5). Cons: 1. Camera DETECTION (motion) range is limited to approx. 15 or less feet. Would like 25 feet. 2. The Eufy App that runs on your phone is just ok. Need to improve navigation. 3. Need capability of limiting number of alarms. I would like to ability to insert a 1-2 minute delay after an event has been captured. Otherwise I get back to back to back videos (e.g. 3) of same event. 4. Spotlight works, but night video blurry beyond 10 feet. Stronger spotlight would be helpful. Pros: The WIFI makes It is super easy to install. For the money the system is very good. It has a few issues, but bottom line it does what a security system should do. The spotlight coupled with excellent night vision and human detection provides instant feedback to possible intruders that they have been seen and taped.

Bought this primarily for the local storage & lack of a cloud subscription fee, but the drawback is they are more expensive up front. I like that they are rechargeable, can be connected to a solar panel, or can be hard wired into existing circuitry. Good image quality and AI motion detection is a nice feature. I will purchase more as needed.

BEST CAMERA I’VE EVER PURCHASED. NO SUBSCRIPTION NEEDED. QUALITY IS CRYSTAL CLEAR. APP IS VERY EASY TO USE. BETTER THAN RING IN MY OPINION. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I have 3 of these cameras. 2 work pretty well but one the one i have monitoring my drive often doesn’t detect vehicles. I contacted support which was pretty useless and a waste of time. Since two of the cameras work decently well, I’m exchanging the bad camera, hoping it’s a hardware issue. The cameras are made for a small area. If you have a large area to watch, these aren’t the way to go. They’re good for a doorway, garage door, small porch or deck. If you’re trying to watch an half acre yard or something, these are not the cameras for you. Well unless you want to mount a half dozen cameras.

I needed a camera for a detached garage that is near 150 feet from the home base and wifi router. Im not new to the Eufy brand having door bells and floodlights so I knew the human detection would be great and the 2k resolution would be great as well. What I was surprised about is how good the connection is that far away. The old blink out door camera I had in there just would not connect to the network, but this camera is full bars to 3 out of 4 bars. I picked this one because its compact size and had the solar panel bundled with it. Love the built in alarm, and built in spot lights. They light up the 12x24 garage its in perfectly.

i bought this with the eufy video doorbell about a month ago. this camera is awesome, works just as i had hoped, but the doorbell is basically useless. says the battery can last up to 6 months, which im sure could be possible if you really dont want it to do its job and just function as a doorbell sans camera. but whats the point, right? so i have mine set to optimal surveillance that allows up to 60 seconds of recording time. which worked great for about 3 weeks. the battery died despite the battery life indicator still showing half its charge. so i brought it in and charged it for several hours and reinstalled. since, i have had 5 deliveries and numerous joggers/walkers outside and not a single one detected. (one being a pizza delivery guy who wound up just setting it on the steps in the sun for 30 minutes before i ever checked! which tells me the doorbell isnt working either), yet when i mow the yard, it picks me up. every pass. all my settings are still the same as it was prior to the recharge, so im not sure what could have possibly happened, but its basically useless now. but this 2c pro is still at 77% battery (installed the same day) and gets more action than the front & notifies me every time! wish i had just bought two if these instead!

I had purchased the Eufy 2C bundle earlier in 2020, it was a good investment but I was not excited about the image quality. I decided to add a 2C Pro and the 2K has really made a difference. I have found the clarity during the day is quite exceptional (I can Identify vehicles on the street as they drive by), night vision could use some work but overall for the price you cannot find much better. I have relegated the 1080 cameras to the side and back yards so my wife and I can watch our kids while working from home.

Great quality video and facial recognition is accurate
