Replaced the motor myself about 8 months ago. Still running!

I was happy to find this motor as the cost of the motor was less than half of the labor cost of an HVAC tech to come out and replace it under warranty. However, the motor only lasted 20 months. But, because I cannot find a better deal out there I will probably go with another and take my chances. Also, maybe there is a warranty, but I could never reach anyone at the manufacturer/seller. To replace in my HVAC it had to: -Pull the electrical disconnect -Remove the front panel (6 screws) -Remove the ground wire screw -Remove screw on other side of hanger -Remove wire harnes -Remove 2 other wires -Slide motor out -Loosen set screw holding fan -Remove fan -Remove 3 mounting screws -Remove motor from housing -Losen collar around motor -Remove motor -Put in new motor -Reverse all above steps

The motor was not hard to wire but can see it might look hard with all the wires coming out. Your only going to use half the wires

Exact match to my GE X-13, FM20. The only difference is the shaft is longer. Even the connections were the same. Simple fix to save money.

My local AC company wanted $1200 to replace the blower motor on my 2010 Carrier fx4dnf019t00aaa. I order this $200 motor on Friday and installed this morning in under an hour (in attic and Im 67 years old). Started up, sensed proper fan direction and now works like a charm! Rip of from AC crooks averted for once.

Received 3 days sooner than expected. Perfect fit. Was able to do a simple plug and use install for my fiend by using harness from old motor(carrier electric furnace) Good price. Didnt use or need tech support but the info provide with the motor was excellent. Im sure I will try this company for future products Three different furnace repair companies quoted them $450.00 without even seeing it. Fixed for under $225.00. How could they NOT be happy????? Thank you very much.

Blower motor on a Bryant Central Air Conditioner Model FB4CNF024T00ACAA went out on a Sunday afternoon. OEM part was $500 and wouldnt be in stock for a week. According to the fact sheet on regalrexnord.com, their Genteq Evergreen EM 6203E was a compatible replacement and was half the price and Prime shipped to my door in 2 days. Took a couple of hours to install, most of that spent battling the belly bands infuriating nut/bolt placement that was almost impossible to loosen or tighten because of how little room there was to fit in the required two wrenches. I basically could move the wrench about 1/64th of an inch before I ran out of space and had to reposition it, all the while banging my knuckles on the rough cut sheet metal edges of the housing. However once in the housing, the rest of the install was a cake walk. The motor comes with a very nice instruction booklet and an extra harness that extends the connections that control the fan speed. This is nice because you may have to play around with which connections to use depending on how the old blower motor was programmed and the harness puts the connections in easy reach instead of having to slide a hand between the motor and the wall of the air handler where space is tight. I just used the same positions as my previous motor used and it worked fine. There is NO programming needed for the Evergreen motor to work, it even auto-senses the correct rotational direction of the shaft the first time it starts up. Sitting in my icy cold room as I type this, I cant think of anything negative to say. As you can see in the picture, the only differences between the OEM motor and the Evergreen is that the shaft is a little longer and the connectors are on the housing rather than extending on a harness but, like I previously mentioned, they do include and extension harness specifically for the speed connectors. Will try and remember to update this review in the Winter when I kick on the heat cause I sure aint gonna test that right now! Oh did I mention I probably saved myself $1,000 bucks doing it myself and got it done a heck of a lot faster!!
