The build quality is very good, aside from the locking mechanism. It operates pretty rough and makes a loud noise when you unlock it because it is very tight. I have seen numerous broken locking mechanisms at pet stores - I really hope they rethink this design. I put a matchstick in the lock slot so I dont have to use it. Other than that it is a very good case. I have a 3 tarantula in my 12x12x12 and it is plenty big for decorations etc. Please redesign the locking mechanism.

Have always loved Exo Terra products. Very well constructed and sturdy. Have all of 4 of my Tarantulas displayed in the Exo terrariums.

Perfect for my three frogs. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a glass terrarium or vivarium. The first one I ordered one of the doors was broken in two making it somewhat unusable for my frogs. I contacted Amazon, they said since it is glass I wasnt to send it back. They, (Karen, what a nice lady), told me to destroy the first one and they sent me a replacement two days later. So now I have two terrariums for the price of one. It cost $12 for Ace Hardware to cut me a new piece of glass to replace the broken door. Thank you Amazon I am a happy Prime member. Another plus is that I priced this same terrarium at my local pet store and it was $179.99. It never hurts to shop around.

my frog seems too sit and stare out at the world but what do you expect from a pac man frog. didnt brake in the mail like the other larger terrariums and did not cause massive scares and nerve damage in my hands from it breaking when i tried to get it out of the box.

Tarantula!!! He loves it!! Great size for my sons juvenile little beast to grow.

I got this for my lepord gecko after I put her in it she started claiming the back wall and felt right at home in this terariam. I plan on getting another one for my daughters gecko.

If you want one of these youll have to go through a painful process of it getting shipped to you broken, you trying to return it, having to email people endlessly just to end up being unenthused when you get your box not broken two months later after you planned to have your animal shipped to you.
