> 3 dayLiked The item has no problem calling with Facebook Messenger. The music is nice too, with good bass. The bass of echo show 10 2nd gen is better. The size of the screen is good, when you are calling someone from the phone, portrait is good. The nice thing about this device is that the camera follows when you move. The microphone has a good reception. Bluetooth Headset When you connect your bluetooth headset it worked and the built in speaker and mic will be muted. Camera The camera is very clear and sharp. Augmented reality is also good. Disliked Alexa Calls This has been my question and no one has been covered about Alexa built in calling to another alexa device. It cannot make alexa calls. Apps No Youtube, Tiktok, Instagram app. It can be visited via web browsers. Ezviz Viewing ezviz camera is really slow.

Greater than one weekIts nice to see family without holding your phone! You can see grandchildren running around and your kids reacting naturally to them.

> 3 dayIt is good for video call. have very good feature of focus as we move. Screen quality is also good. alexa works fine but other integration like youtube etc is not as expected. i mainly use it as photo display and video call. both works fine.

> 3 dayThis is such a great product. Useful as a communication tool to keep in touch with loved ones, but also for playing videos while cooking, great for games free music management. Highly recommend!

> 3 dayI bought this for my husband as a fathers dat gift. He was really confused when he opened it, and kinda poo-pooed it. I unboxed it, set it up, logged onto FB, (my account of course as he is on NO social media), connected Alexa and Spotify. Now mind you, he didnt think much of Alexa before this, and couldnt understand why I had bought 6 more dots. I had our son, who is serving a mission for our church away from home, call us on messanger. HUBBY GONE WILD! He adores it!!! We conference with kids, (we have 9), and grandkids, (18 of them spread out everywhere). We can literally be there with them and read a book, say prayers, watch a game, etc., with the Portal. He called everyone he knew on it, just to tell them how cool it was and to show them the zoom and pan features it has. He struts around the kitchen while we make dinner, do dishes, eat breakfast and so on. Then I showed him what Alexa can do, and started a playlist for him on Spotify. He has 1010 songs! In 2 weeks! He has demanded a dot be put in his office and the garage, even by the pool. Dont think about it, just buy it! The Plus is worth the extra money. We are saving up to get each of our kids and parents a Plus for Christmas this year. I trust Amazon, so buying refurbished doesnt scare me one bit.

> 3 dayWe love our Portal to spend time with our family that is out of state. I have used Story Time for our granddaughter. Only one concern, we had a Portal+ that only lasted 18 months. A lot of money for only 18 months use. However, we are hoping that it was a fluke and this one lasts for a longer time. We gave the 10” Portals as gifts and they have lasted for a few years.

> 3 dayPortal is great! Amazing clear camera that follows you and pans out to include others as they enter the room. We can now celebrate with my parents who are 3000 miles away! It really is like they are in the same room! Sound quality on the Portal + is nice too, as are the Alexa features that are built in. Calls are encrypted and there is a camera cover as well as an on/off switch for the microphone. For the crazy conspiracy theorists out there that choose to return this simply because of the Facebook name....better return your Smart TV, turn off all your cell phone apps, return anything Ring, Alexa or Google related..... better yet, maybe you should consider living off the grid because the future is here!

> 3 daySo i use Facebook messenger and whats up app a lot(daily) so this is an amazing devise for me. It is so cool, it moves when you move (moderate speed, so dont run) and it zooms in and out (for example if you were in a room talking and someone else comes in it zooms out to catch that person and vise versa when that person leaves it zooms back in on you). Also if there is a sound in the background it concentrates on your voice so the person on the other line does not get distracted. Also on messenger you can tell stories (kids stories). Now for Alexa app, its good but not perfect let me explain more so it does pull up recipes and turns on and off the lights but it doesnt save the recipe like the other Alexa apps and it doesnt show you the feed to your cameras but other than that its great and very useful to not have you holding your phone all the time and can multi task while youre chatting... i love it. My advice to you if you dont use the messenger and whats up apps regularly it wouldnt be useful to you. Hope this review helps your decision.

> 3 dayMy son got one to be able to talk to his dad and stepmother who live states away. Surprisingly bigger than expected and quite pleased with the quality and clarity. Only reason I did 4 stars was because it doesnt allow photos, it said personal photos are not supported on this device
