Pretty pleased. Stuff like this always makes me nervous (Im a bit of a Luddite), but instructions were easy to follow and every step was clear. It took about 25 minutes hands on time. One oddness; you cant import your saved game data onto your new drive unless the game is installed there, so you need to re download and/or disc install every program you want to import the saved game data from. Logistically, this was easy; all content Id purchased was saved in my user library, so once I set up the new drive and signed in to my Sony account it only took a couple of clicks. As you can imagine though, the downloads themselves were time consuming. Mine took about eight hours downloading in sleep mode so I let it run overnight. One minor nit with the kit itself: two of the screws securing my original PS4 drive were over-tightened, and the head of the screw driver included in the kit stripped when I tried removing them. Its a pretty cheap one time-use thing I guess. Luckily, I had a higher quality phillips head of the right size among my tools and it worked easily. Ill echo other reviewers - its important you get the correct PS4 PUP update file from the SONY website to put on the flash drive. As of 11/26/16, you need to scroll down through a lot of options before the right one shows up; its a good ways down the page. Im keeping the old drive in current state case theres a problem (the kit includes an aluminum casing to convert it to an external portable drive), but looks like everything is up and running.

Installation was less than 5 mins and now my PS5 is at 4tb..Money well spent, love it..I have about 26 games on it and still have 3.02tb left..could definitely fit over 75 games..Buy it, u won’t regret it.

As the title says I bought 2 of these for the PS5. One for me and for a gift. And Im happy to say after running them for a while I have not had any issues what so ever with this brand of M.2. Heck if the PS5 is to be correct this thing is faster then some of the other top end M.2s with the read speed. I have attached a photo showing what I got. 6300 on the read.

I got this for my boyfriend and he is amazed with it! It’s fast and easy to use. We love the product and will always recommend this to someone.
