Worth noting that the DPAD and Left Stick are recognized as the exact same input on this, making it impossible to remap and completely negating the DPAD from the controller. I dont know WHY this is like this, but if youre buying this for Dualshock 2 this isnt it.

Does work for the guitar hero guitar. Very sad about this. Now I will have to search everywhere for a ps3 guitar so I can play my games.

PS2 DDR dance pad does not work with this adapter on any OS.

It worked great for a month until it didnt. If you plan to buy this be very careful with it. I had an incidental drop that anyone could have when I was trying to connect my Guitar Hero PS2 SG controller to my computer and when I picked it up to plug it in I got no response from my computer. I went on a goose chase troubleshooting it until I decided to just open the shell and I found one of the wires had disconnected due to flimsy solder and wires. You get what you pay for, I guess.

I bought this adapter so that I could hook up PS1 or PS2 controllers to my computer and check out button/stick functionality on Gamepad Tester. All controllers I tested worked fine. The button layout on the controllers dont correspond to the proper points on Gamepad Tester, but thats not the adapters fault. It still shows me if a button is working properly or not, and if a joystick is functioning correctly or has drift. Happy to finally have one of these for when I work on older controllers.

Works great. I wanted the raphnet adapter but that was way more expensive and out of stock when I was looking at it. Anyway with this adapter the controller was recognized in windows right away. Whammy bar didnt work out of the box, but after installing SCPToolkit (google it) it was properly recognized in clone hero. My biggest worry before getting it was the latency but it hasnt been an issue for me personally. Just hope the cable holds up in the long run, seems a bit cheap and flimsy. Will update if things change.
