Finera PS2 Controller to USB 2.0 Games Controller Adapter Converter Cable, Compatible with PS1 PS2 Dual Shock 2 Joypad Gamepad to PS3 PC Game

I bought this adapter so that I could hook up PS1 or PS2 controllers to my computer and check out button/stick functionality on Gamepad Tester. All controllers I tested worked fine. The button layout on the controllers dont correspond to the proper points on Gamepad Tester, but thats not the adapters fault. It still shows me if a button is working properly or not, and if a joystick is functioning correctly or has drift. Happy to finally have one of these for when I work on older controllers.

Bought this hoping to use an old PS1 controller on a PS5. The PS5 does not like this USB device. Nothing wrong with this device as far as I can tell, just that the PS5 doesnt like it.

It will work for the most parts but has problem with micro stutters where it will loose power for 1/20th of a second every so often then quickly reconnect. This is enough time to have the controller believe you are no longer holding a button when you in fact are. This happens across the three PCs I have tested it on, Which are running on windows 10, 8, and 7. Ill try ordering a few more to see if I just got a dud, or if its a consistent problem with all of their adapters.

Bought this to connect my Guitar Hero SG to my PC. Works well enough for Clone Hero. Whammy bar and Star Power tilt dont work with the version I got (according to other reviews of this product, sounds like that is hit or miss), but I can live without those and keep those controls bound to my mouse. A great cheap and Prime Shipped option.

Doesn’t work when plugging in the adapter to the PS3. Reached out and found the driver but no information on how to install it on the PS3

This is the ONLY adapter that is recognized by windows as a proper Dualshock 3 controller. When combined with either DS4Windows and/or DsHidMini they allow you to utilize ALL the features of playstation controllers, this includes all digital buttons (of course), analog sticks, rumble, AND the most surprising of all, pressure-sensitive buttons! I cannot emphasize how amazing that is. I tried over a dozen other adapters and NONE other replicated all these features. It may simply may come down to the firmware that is installed on the device, but this difference is key. I can not recommend this adapter enough, and I can ONLY recommend this one over ANY other. A VERY nice extra is that this adapter is 100% compatible with a Playstation Classic console that has been modded using BleemSync, Project Eris, or AutoBleem. This was my primary use for the adapter, but after finding out that even pressure sensitive buttons work, I ended up getting a total of 4 to use on my PC when emulating in PCSX2. I only hope that the seller/manufacturer do not switch anything about the production of this device, because once again it is the ONLY one that is FULLY featured.

I bought this so I could use my ps2 dance mat on my pc. Troubleshooted a fair amount- long story short, its impossible to even map the right buttons onto this thing because the computer thinks its pressing one imput over and over. A waste of money. Youre unfortunately better off buying a more expensive one, (if youre looking for a dance mat converter.)
