I bought this to use a Guitar Hero PS2 SG guitar with guitar hero world tour for PC. While this product says that it is not usable with guitars, it can be used with limited functionality. It registers whatever is plugged into it as a PS3 controller, so keep that in mind. The only issue Ive had with it is that the whammy bar is mapped to the same axis as the strum bar, so whammy is not usable while using this adapter. Otherwise, this product is great and does everything I would possibly want it to do. I would recommend if the whammy bar isnt to important to you (for guitar hero) I cannot speak to its use with actual PS2 controllers or with a PS3.

I have three PS2 controllers that I know works on a PS2 console. And Windows refuses to see the button inputs on all three. It may be 4 times cheaper, but you get what you pay for, which is a dead-on-arrival converter. Do NOT recommend.

It might work for traditional PS2 controllers but I bought it to use my PS2 guitar on the PS3 since I can’t seem to find a PS3 guitar. It doesn’t work, the buttons are all messed up. Do not buy if you’re going to use a guitar on it.

Bought this hoping to use an old PS1 controller on a PS5. The PS5 does not like this USB device. Nothing wrong with this device as far as I can tell, just that the PS5 doesnt like it.

Really Bummed, got a refund. I know the controller works so maybe its the adapter.

It tried installing Malware to friends computer but still works, but you know it tries to installs Malware so yeah :)
