Without using a program that treats PlayStation controllers as an XInput device (Xbox controllers) you cannot use the wammy bar.

Didn’t work

I bought this mat for a PS2 DDR pad. My PC was able to recognize the adapter but no input was being received, thats because there is a driver you must download to get this to work. This is NOT linked in the product description, however it is linked as an answer to a question. Unfortunately, you cannot download the driver because it is being hosted on Baidu, a Chinese website which requires a Chinese account to set up. You CANNOT set up an account outside of China, and after digging around the web for a few hours, I could not find another link to the drivers. Sadly I will be returning this product, and advise all of you to as well.

Been wanting to try clone hero but didn’t feel like getting a wii guitar/adapter since I already had a ps2 guitar. This works fine for all buttons except I can’t figure how to configure the whammy bar or if you even can. Have a couple hours on the adapter so far with no issues/latency or disconnecting but will update if anything goes wrong.

Worked right out of the box, accurate with minimal lag

It works great for using my PlayStation 2 Guitar Hero controllers on PC. Ive purchased 2 of them in the past and there are inconsistencies in how they arrive as the cable length is slightly different on both. The first on worked fine but didnt pick up the whammy bar on the controller while the 2nd one does recognize the whammy. If you want something cheap and easy for using PlayStation 2 peripherals on PC, this will do the trick. Just expect fairly low build quality and potential inconsistencies. The price matches the quality but the basic function of it works great.

It will work for the most parts but has problem with micro stutters where it will loose power for 1/20th of a second every so often then quickly reconnect. This is enough time to have the controller believe you are no longer holding a button when you in fact are. This happens across the three PCs I have tested it on, Which are running on windows 10, 8, and 7. Ill try ordering a few more to see if I just got a dud, or if its a consistent problem with all of their adapters.

it arrived early, no need for drivers if you just want to play games with just the controller as far as i can tell.

This adapter is absolutely worth its price. I configured it for PC and my PS1 analog works with it amazingly. Kudos to you, Finera. ✌️
