> 3 dayThis works great with the PS1 Dualshock and the PS2 Dualshock! I originally purchased this to play Ridge Racer Type 4 with the JogCon, but it doesnt recognize the controller(when it was plugged in, it acted like the up and left D pad was held down). So thats the reason for a 3 star rating. Otherwise it works with the official controller(s).

> 3 dayI use this adapter to play clone hero with a PS2 Guitar Hero controller. Out of the box it will work, but the Whammy and strum bar will both be mapped to the same axis. However, by using DsHidMini, a universal Dualshock 3 driver, this issue can be fixed. Even tilt works!

Greater than one weekI bought this mat for a PS2 DDR pad. My PC was able to recognize the adapter but no input was being received, thats because there is a driver you must download to get this to work. This is NOT linked in the product description, however it is linked as an answer to a question. Unfortunately, you cannot download the driver because it is being hosted on Baidu, a Chinese website which requires a Chinese account to set up. You CANNOT set up an account outside of China, and after digging around the web for a few hours, I could not find another link to the drivers. Sadly I will be returning this product, and advise all of you to as well.

> 3 dayThis did not work at all, in any way, for any of my wheels or controllers. Didnt work for any console games, or for any games on the PC. I even bought a 2nd one and tested each game with each controller/wheel to make sure I didnt somehow accidentally damage the first or that something wasnt compatible... Nope, just a useless product. Dont waste your time or money, now I have to return 2 of these.

> 3 dayWhen I had purchased a similar adapter over a decade ago, I could not get it to register with my original 60gig PS3, to allow me to play my expansive library of PS2 games, thus I had returned it. This year, I had purchased a similar adapter for use with my PS2 wheel and FPS controller. The first one was lost in delivery and thus resorted to this particular model when the question read that it could register the PS2 wheel. The item had arrived and I was able to first test out my wheel on a racing game, it performed wonderfully on a PS3 game and I tried again with my FPS controller and it worked just as well. Then I tried to play Playstation Classics with either controller and even a default Dualshock 2 controller, and I had mixed results. Sometimes it does not register, sometimes it cannot recognize the analogue controls, so it is largely the fault of software. I had purchased it so that I may future proof my rather specialized controllers for PS4 and later consoles if and when I ever get around to purchasing either of them. Still, it would have been nice if I could actually play a Dualshock 2 controller on either the PS2 and PSOne Classics Ive downloaded from the PSN, but it is not always clear or compatible, it would defend on the game utilized and largely trial and error. Then I tried to use it on my PC. Again, it would not register even after I had downloaded and installed the driver. I am unsure if it is due to the XBox 360 controller driver interfering but I simply could not get my PC to register it for gameplay. It had recognized the name of the controller but little else beyond it. Both actual PC games and emulators simply could not find it. All I can advise is that the hardware works as advertised, but the software leaves much to be desired and unfortunately the manufacturer and seller of the adapter could only do so far on the software and driver side. It is cheap in comparison, and especially compared to other more contemporary USB controllers, but it should be warned that it is not an end-all, be-all solution when it comes to anything other than PS3 games. ADDENDUM: Recently, I had wondered if the adapter would work with a physical PSOne Disk instead of an emulated one and thus tested it out. After succeeding trials and experiments with not only a physical PSOne Disk but also aforementioned PSOne and PS2 Classic emulated games and eventually found that a good percentage of the above issues with them can be circumvented largely by making sure that the controller is indeed configured as the primary controller as opposed to secondary and thus the ability to have the analogue sticks be recognized in the game. Though one should be forwarned that in terms of the PS2 Classic emulated games, the digital pad as well as the analogue button that is recognized as the PS button are overly sensitive. In fact, the PS3 and said emulated game simulates a single push as several. I am unsure if this is due to the software or if there is an issue of the controller itself, but previous experience would refer me to the latter. This is barely enough for me to justify a higher rating, but it is something that should be considered. EDIT: I had just tried it on my PS4 and it recognized it as a Dualshock 3 controller. Thus, it cant be used. Oh well, there goes future proofing my controllers.

> 3 dayBarely worked at first, but after I got the right drivers it worked great! Got it for PC to use on clone hero, I dont think mine came with the url paper others mention and it didnt work right away, I kept trying different drivers from random places online and none worked, eventually I used scp toolkit and after intalling that the controller finally worked flawlessly, whammy bar, tilt, and everything! If any of you are having any problems just try that
