> 3 dayTwo orders... inside of both screens scratched from mishandling. I’m not sure how I’m 2/2 like that, but I’d find another brand.

> 3 dayWorked good, next day can’t turn off iPad, touch screen at top stoped working. 15+year gov tech work. Did many Apple items before. Got new lcd installed with this so this cost me $$ not just the item I ordered. I would need a whole new “lcd kit” not parted out like I had ordered it. ***Bottom wire feed is faulty on this and temperamental with touch on install when closing shell. Places do different feeds and lengths ask any installer at a repair place or look at photos online to see. This wire feed was made too short/tight.*** Don’t want my money back, I need a whole new lcd kit now as I’m not a shop and don’t have extra tape etc laying around to refix a bad situation to reinstall another. If your not a shop or have extra stuff for repairs don’t buy this and buy a whole lcd and touch sensor kit, then if it goes bad you will not be disappointed enough to write on here like this…. If I was at fault I would admit it, my fault not buying a whole kit from 1 seller alone. Orson! calling Orson! Come in Orson! Shuzzebutt!!!

> 3 day3rd time replacing IPad mini 2 w/retna display screen. Only lost a couple of screws so far lol. This kit is highest quality yet. Great tools (loved the magnetized screwdriver), adhesive was branded 3M (who knows if it was), was pre-installed and stuck well (last 2 kits did not), screen had tape over the exposed digitizer edges (no need for 1/4 inch Kapton tape over contacts to prevent ghost touch). When unit is off you can faintly see lines in the glass (in the right light conditions) for the digitizer, but they are not visible in any way with screen on and I will take a screen that responds properly any day (the 2 previous ones that responded poorly to touch had no digitizer lines). For those doing this the first time, the factory screen is a serious pain to get off, but take your time and be careful and it will be fine. Find an online instructional video and watch it all the way first, then restart it and pause at each step while you do it the first time. Hold off on cup of coffee beforehand (need a steady hand), wear latex gloves and safety glasses, and expect glass dust everywhere (keep a vacuum nearby). Make sure not to accidentally scratch the LCD along the sides when removing. I found razor blades are best fine pry device to work it up, use the guitar picks to keep it from settling back down. Be sure to get ALL balled up tape residue and glass from the edges of the frame or the stress riser will cause new screen to crack. The screws around the metal cover of the battery are all the same, but the 3 that go over the metal cover on the digitizer and screen connections are of different sizes (long and short threads), so make sure they go back in correct location. The 4 that hold the LCD down are unique with larger heads and you can not mix those up. Use the foam padding that the screen came in to lay the screen on as you are assembling the other parts, and get a large light colored hand towel to keep things from sliding around while you are working on it and to help see small screws. And lastly, whatever you do, DO NOT DO THIS OVER BLACK SHAG CARPET or a screw will disappear!

> 3 dayThis kit is packaged well with good instructions and all appropriate tools. However the home button that is supplied with the screen sucks, save your oem button if you replace your glass.

> 3 daySo far it is holding up okay, though it is not as sensitive as the original digitizer. I bought it to replace the original due to a crack. The adhesive is also not that great, so I recommend reinforcing it as others have mentioned. One note during removal of the original: the instructions state to heat it up around the edges in order to loosen the adhesive. Not sure if that was the issue or if it was something else, but my LCD screen ended up going bad, so I had to order another LCD screen. This was when I discovered that the adhesive on the digitizer was not that great, as it was able to come right off. So, just be very careful so that you do not have to replace the LCD screen as well.

> 3 dayonce you put it , it looks like new , no visible difference anywhere , becareful while removing broken screen as it can go into eyes , mouth ( glass pieces ) if its broken in 100s of pieces. but the quality and tools with this screen is suffiecient , i only request them to send alcohal swabs too to clean the glue from screen after removing broken screen.. else everything is perfect.
