Fixcracked Touch Screen Replacement Parts Digitizer Glass Assembly for Ipad air 1st and WIFI Antenna Cable and Professional Tool Kit (black)

I installed it on my friends iPad air and it worked for about a week then it started becoming unresponsive and sometimes the touch would do what ever it wanted, they would try to open an app it would open a different app try to close and it would minimize all apps. the swipe would not work. it seemed ok it just was not a quality product. it took a few weeks for my friend to get me the iPad so it is probably out of warranty and taking it apart would do more harm then good.

The first one I got one of the cables was broken, returned it and reordered. The second one, the cables were fine. I followed all the directions, Peeled the adhesive tabs off. Set it in the frame and lightly pressed the edges to seal the adhesive and it cracked. All that work for nothing.

I wish I never used this product. I had a cracked screen and now I have a iPad that doesn’t work at all. Nothing will turn on at all and I followed every step. Instructions are tiny with tiny pictures and missing words.

I am seriously in awe of how easy this was. It gets a 4 because the instructions with it are terrible. I had watched several YouTube videos on this while waiting for my 2 day delivery. And still when I opened it and looked at the instructions I couldnt make heads or tails of it. But following along with the YouTube video made this a breeze. It was very time intensive but really quite easy. Its just slow painstaking work to get the top off without damaging anything inside. I am seriously not handy and have a slight tremor but its done and it works. But amazed. I wish I had known about this 3 professional repairs ago, I couldve saved hundreds.

The home button didn’t work, but because I bought it for a 5th generation 2017 iPad (not the one it’s technically made for) this is probably why it didn’t work-but I’m just guessing. I just re-used my home button, so it wasn’t an issue. The tools that come with this are great. It comes with things you didn’t realize you needed-but make the job easier and seem to be of a higher quality than most kits. The touch screen works perfectly, picture is perfect. He only thing is that this digitizer has a grid pattern visible when tilted a certain way, but doesn’t detract from the visuals in any way. Overall pretty good purchase and would buy again.

Worked great for replacing the broken screen, however within a week the home button started getting sick and now barely works

Easy installation guide great set of tools although I had some already this had the perfect spudgers and tweezers for the job and I’m super satisfied with the outcome definitely worth buying

I bought this because there were many reviews. I’ve replaced several glass screens on iPhones before so I’m definitely technical enough to perform this. After completing the glass replacement there seems to be ghost touches everywhere. It’s all over the place. It’s basically unusable now. The home button is wiggly and seems to stick a little. Guess I’ll pay for another solution now.

This did not work well for my first gen iPad Air. The bottom row of apps are no longer clickable and my home button does not work either. I can not recommend this product.

Went together perfectly! Grandson is extremely happy with his iPad.
