> 3 dayThis Fluance RT82 turntable has a very nice clear sound. I’m not an audio file but it sounds as good as more expensive turntables. It looks very good, nice quality and easy set up.

> 3 dayFirst the good. The sound quality is excellent and set up was a breeze. The sound is good with the included cartridge ortofon om 10 cartridge but I already had an ortofon 2m red from a previous turntable. Much better sound with the 2m red. The bad. When I got the turntable the curing lever was loose and the curing would not go all the way down. Tightened the screw enough so it would lower enough to allow the stylus to drop all the was down. After just a little over a month the curing lever doesnt work at all. Not worth trying to pack it up and send it back for service as the curing lever is not a deal breaker for me. I play albums all the way through not picking and choosing tracks. For others it might be a deal breaker so check it first so you are, still in Amazons return window. Hopefully this is a one off and not a quality control problem as the sound is great.

> 3 dayOverall top notch especially for the money. Replaceable headshell was a must, really hard to find. Change the character of its sound in a few minutes with a headshell/cartridge swap.

> 3 dayWorks great and setup wasnt too bad at all. However - I did order the Walnut but received the White model which isnt bad at all and was my 2nd choice. Dont want to go through the hassle of packing it back up and shipping it back and waiting on the Walnut one to arrive (opened the box on Christmas morning). Still a nice turntable and so far sounds great. I like the Auto Stop function to save on the stylus a bit too. I would recommend but would make sure they know what Color you want and check in before shipping to make sure. Fluance - in the next model up I would add a light so you can see the record a bit on where to place the stylus - especially in low light, etc...similar to the Audio Technica models. Otherwise - worth the price of admission so far for sure.

> 3 dayI purchased this for my son and he is astatic about the sound, quality and craftsmanship of the turntable. He’s a fanatic music buff and researched what would give him the old turntable sound, not digitally created. Thumbs up!!

> 3 dayGreat sounding record player! Easy to set up. I had to watch a YouTube video about arm and counter weight setup. Great value for the price. Glad I made the purchase. This, and some fluance speakers and a preamp and your set!

> 3 dayThe turntable works great and has produces excellent sound on both new and well-used records. One item in the set-up process (which was otherwise straightforward) which is VERY important is the ground wire to the amplifier. The 3 foot long wire enclosed did not reach my amplifier and I tried to play it without connecting the ground. Very loud static feedback and a loud hum was the result. A home made wire eliminated that completely. The troubleshooting guide also mentions that speakers should not be on the same shelf near the turntable which is where mine were), that the amp should not be too close to it and that using an extension cord or power strip may also cause feedback or a hum. Since I am using permanent built-in shelving, the distance from the turntable to the amp and to the nearest outlet were not reachable with either the supplied ground wire or power cord. Fortunately, using a power strip extension seems to work fine. Also, I was able to relocate the speakers away from the turntable. It would seem that some engineering could be done to eliminate or minimize the feedback and supplying a longer ground wire would enable users to keep the amp at a distance and still reach it without fabricating a longer one.
