> 3 dayComing from the lower budget TT, this is blowing me away. I like that I can upgrade the needle and the platter and end up with the high end model. The sound is great, it looks fantastic on my shelf, I love how the black vinyl pops out a bit more on the lighter bamboo color, and i dont have to worry about walking lightly or worry about my speakers on the same surface ( i still use isolation pads for the speakers) affecting the playback. The instructions walk you through the setup pretty good, but you may want to look up a video on calibrating the tone arm because the instructions for that are a little lacking for a first timer.

> 3 dayFirst off, Ive wanted desperately to love Fluance. Really. Ive tried to. I scraped together (and sold some stuff) so I could have a decent turntable. I studied up on dozens of different tables but this one continued to come up as the best bang for the buck. So I finally ordered it. When it arrived I set it all up and started it in. But the wow and flutter were out of control. I boxed it up and sent it back for a replacement and the people in customer service were great. This was in August. I got the new one, set it up and have enjoyed it. I bought some AI60s to match and have had all sorts of issues with them and the customer service was weeks at a time in responding. I decided to just eat the cost and enjoy them for what they are. One day Ill sell them and get something I like. By the time anyone actually responded my trial period was done anyway. So that sucks. Now my turntable is having issues with 45RPM. If the autostop is on, it slows WAY down the last 3 or 4 seconds. There are a few 45s it DOESNT do this on but it does it on most. It does NOT do this when the autostop is off. I bought this because it had an autostop feature. So there is obviously something defective on it. But, even after sending a video of the exact same record showing that it slows down on one setting and not the other they responded that it was an issue with my records. Seriously. This was well after a week of sending the email. I realize we are in a pandemic and things are slowed down a bit but this was an issue I had in January so thats not the problem. The problem is they dont care. And their products are amazing until they are not. And then you wont get any help. So, even though Ive given them multiple chances (and hundreds of dollars...dammit why didnt I go for Technics and Klipsch????!!!) Ill write these guys off for good. Unfortunately Im stuck since I cant afford to replace all this stuff :(

Greater than one weekA turntable needs to be simple, good looking, and accurate. Well... welcome to vinyl perfection everyone old and new to the industry! My setup includes an Ortofon 2M Blue, along with an Ortofon headshell... Acrylic platter. Im also using a Pro-Ject phono box MM which is grounded, and my output is through a pair of Edifier R2000DBs. I only use quality cables...Ive just migrated from a Denon DP-300F. In my setup, the Fluance runs circles around the Denon in every category and its not even close. It makes any of my old turntables look like toys. The workmanship, precision build, weight, look, sound, performance, and price...are all amazing when compared to anything else. The ONLY better quality turntables for the curious listener might be when we are getting into the expensive Rega or McIntosh turntable ranges...and those cost thousands more! Im an experienced listener and tech savvy adult who has been around music, I also play music so I know quality from bullshit and I know turntables... and Fluance is one of the best brands Ive owned so far. This thing is so quiet and the acrylic is so perfect that I cant even tell its spinning unless I look closely. This actually exceeded my expectations because all other brands have some sort of issue or they are all known for something. I cant name 1 thing I dont like about my Fluance turntable... that says a lot in this day and age. BTW, the first LP I listened to on this turntable... Dark Side of the Moon. Money never sounded better. Soundstage, phasing, etc... all candy to my ears.

02-06-2025Dead easy to set up and the quality is exceptional for the price. I had an Ortofon Red kicking about and it took the sound to the next level. Highly recommend TT with easy upgrade if you want to improve your listening. Buy It

> 3 dayIve upgraded from an entry-level Audio-Technia and it was 100% worth it. The unit sounds great, it is far less likely to skip, and it looks awesome on the shelf. It arrived very carefully packaged (some assembly required). The instructions for balancing the arm were fine, but Fluance also has some videos available to talk you through it. Using mine with a Sony amp and a pair of Edifier P12 bookshelf speakers.
