Big upgrade for my 1979 Sony PS-T1. Accurate and reliable and sonically superior to the Sony. It was fun putting the Fluance together upon arrival. Gained a deeper understanding of how the turntable functions.

Love it! Not a beginner turntable though. Not much so that its advanced, but wouldnt recommend it for beginners. Other than that great turntable!

Everything about this turntable...looks, sound, quality build and size. I know I dont sound like an audiophile , but size actually matters. I needed something that would work well with the dimensional limitations that exist with my entertainment stand and this turned out to be an excellent fit! Having the speaker stands cutom built for the speakers (which have incredible bass for bookshelf speakes) to finish off the ensemble. Only complaint is that Fluance did not have the needed preamp available, so I purchased an inferior brand to get my turntable operational. Still sounds great, just wanted to stay with all Fluance components.

I’m just getting into vinyl and didn’t want to spend top dollar, but didn’t want a cheap turntable with Bluetooth. I found the RT82 and pulled the trigger because of its price point and the ability to upgrade cartridges down the road. I’ve only got a couple hours of listening in and I’m loving it.

I just took delivery today and Im very impressed overall. I have a modest system driving the music through an Onkyo 8140 receiver into a pair of Paradigm Mini Monitors (from the 90s). This table is pulling everything from the vinyl. I ordered a second headshell to mount an Ortophon 2M Red that I recently purchased trying to upgrade my old Philips 677 table. This will allow me to keep the factory setup OM10 in case I dont like the sound. Just popped on Little Feats Sailin Shoes (yep, Im a geezer) and the album sings! The only caution is that there is considerable setup and assembly. Instructions are very clear though. Also, the auto stop function is unique and very useful. Dont hesitate. Update: I received the second headshell and mounted my OM2 Red cart. I was a bit disappointed in the performance vs. the OM10. The 2M Red seems a bit muddier and less open although the bass response is at least as strong, maybe a bit stronger. I would probably advise to save up for an OM2 Blue instead since the reviews seem to suggest a big dynamic upgrade from the Red. Bottom line is that I actually prefer the OM10 and am sticking with it

Just bought this as my first turn table. I was going to go with the RT81 but the wood color was sold out and the other colors were the same price as this one. It was easy to setup, it’s easy to use, and it sounds great. Don’t forget that this DOESN’T have a built in phono preamp so make sure you buy one.

I purchased this for my son and he is astatic about the sound, quality and craftsmanship of the turntable. He’s a fanatic music buff and researched what would give him the old turntable sound, not digitally created. Thumbs up!!
