Greater than one weekI did a lot of research and it ended up between the RT82 and the Audio-Technica AT-LP120. I’m so glad I went with RT82. This turntable is so great and the features on it is so nice for the price range. I’m not that critical on sound and think the Ortofon OM10 is just perfect for me. I do think I will get an acrylic platter down the road. Overall it sounds great and couldn’t be any happier.

> 3 dayAn honest to goodness quality turntable. Sounds great and has been reliable without issue. I upgraded the platter to the high density acrylic platter and can upgrade the cartridge anytime although the Ortofon OM-10 it comes with is great. I was stuck between this and the debut carbon evo. I cant say anything about the evo buy I can say I have no regrets choosing this turntable. This may not be the highest end turntable but the quality for the money is right on point.

> 3 dayI have never written a review before but I needed to say this. My brother bought me this record player for my birthday and after maybe 5 uses over 6 weeks the stylus broke. I went on the Fluance website asking for a replacement stylus as the website says there is a two year warranty for their products, but after several emails back and forth they came to the conclusion that I would not get a replacement stylus as While the turntable does come with a two year manufacturers warranty, this does not include arts such as stylus and belts which are subject to wear. This is one of the most asinine policies I have ever heard. When my brother bought this product it was not just the record player it was whole product which included a stylus. If you value an honest and fair company I would avoid Fluance.

Greater than one weekAmp: Denon PMA-350Z Solid State Integrated Amplifier (1975) Speakers: Klipsch RB-51 II Bookshelf Speakers I was considering this and the more expensive RT83, but due to recommendations from online forums I went with the OM10 on the RT82 over the 2M Red on the RT83. Many say the 2M Red is very bright and replacement/upgrade costs on the OM line is cheaper and I will likely go with the OM20 stylus upon replacement. Watch Fluance or another persons video you the Tube for setting up the turntable if youve never done it before. It will be much clearer than the instructions. Its pretty simple to do. I am no audiophile, but I think this thing sounds amazing. Its by far the best turntable Ive had. I cant compare to Rega, or Project, etc. but theres those comparisons on the world wide web. My favorite part about this is it can auto stop! This is fantastic for me that has zero attention span and can, and have, regularly get distracted and not stop the turntable when the records over. It takes about 20secs then the motor stops, saving your stylus. This setting can be turned off for you purist audiophiles. Another great feature is the cue lever. I love watching the thing as it slowly and gently drops the stylus down onto your record. Place the tone arm where you want it, and drop the cue lever to gently drop the stylus to the record. Again, preserving the life of your stylus.

> 3 dayI dont claim to be an audiophile. But I am an experienced listener of quality music and have mixed music professionally in the past. I had an old Technics turntable for decades and kept my vinyl collection in good condition. Once I setup the Fluance RT82, I was impressed with the richness of tunes that I had not experienced from my previous setup. The setup takes patience and attention to detail. But not too difficult to follow. It does require a preamp (But most quality turntables do). I didnt experience any need to burn in the sound (as other reviewers mention) as it has sounded great since the first album played! If you can appreciate good audio and you are meticulous about caring for your collection and your gear, you will like this product.
