The Fluke Model 117 is a high quality instrument brand. It is made in China and does not measure well 115/220 volts AC. The leads are very lightweight and too short to be of value to me. Outsourcing the manufacture of a product designed by Fluke to a country that dislikes the USA is poor business. I may seek to return this very disappointing multimeter.

I really like this meter. Readings are fast and dead stable. Included leads are not the most flexible but are dead stable. Had instantly become my go-to meter for general electrical and troubleshooting.

This was on an Amazon “flash” sale and an impulse buy to replace my Fluke series 3 meter (I purchased new almost 30 years ago) that has developed some issues. This meter is perfect for the beginner - intermediate homeowner / electronics user. If you are interested in this meter there are plenty of YouTube videos out there demonstrating all of its features. For the price, you cannot beat its accuracy, ruggedness and reliability. With this meter, you can go forth and conquer.

Hnggg you wanna talk about quality. This is the most beautiful for the price multimeter from Fluke. This is 100% warrantied and repairable through Fluke. DO NOT LET MADE IN CHINA FOOL YOU. Fluke is in their shops DAILY ensuring immensely high quality products to be produced. It sucks that we cant buy in the U.S. or Japan, or Germany, but this still is probably the best thing to ever come out of China.

This is a really nice replacement for my old Fluke meter. Priced well with more features than my old meter. You can’t go wrong with a Fluke.
