Greater than one weekI use it to trouble shoot access control and alarm security systems. I wish it came with the magnet strap, but will have to buy it separately. It turns off on its own when its inactive for certain amount of time, at least mine does. Although its made in China, its not cheaply made. Not the cheapest Fluke Multimeter nor the most Expensive one. It doesnt measure Milliamps, or Microamps.

> 3 dayEven though this is their moderarely priced model you can definitely tell this unit brings with it the Fluke quality. I had never really used a high end multimeter before but was easily able to figure out how to use this model without referencing the manual.

> 3 dayIts a top of the bottom of the line fluke. Solid, dependable. Does exactly what it should do, and it does it well.

> 3 dayBuy Fluke with confidence, but make sure its not sold fufilled by Test Equipment Depot They are horrible. They accused me of returning and item with different serial and wouldnt refund without getting Amazon involved, when they did refund, they shorted me close to $40

15-04-2025This is not my first Flue DVM. I have a Fluke 8060A which is a great meter, but really never liked the push button arrangement. The 117 has the traditional dial which I prefer. All-in-all I think Fluke is and has been the gold standard for DVM’s. However, Flukes can be rather pricy.
