Fluval A20061 X06 AquaStop Valve

Works great, this saved my 4 year old fluval. I had replaced the pipes with just some clear tubing from the local home improvement shop and had them clamped on really tight which caused the spots to shear off with age and wear. This part saved an otherwise good filter.

As usual, they work great, for a while, and then they go South. Im gradually switching over to different filters because of all the parts you have to continually replace on the Fluval filters.

This valve is so cheap and fragile. Every time I buy one I baby it in every way and they always leak after 16 months or less. After they fail I exam them as closely as I can and I never see any reason why it should leak. Its the inside!... Made of the cheapest plastic possible. All my leaky fluval valves look new. If you get a good deal with the canister filter they will get you back with this pricey cheap plastic valve several times over.$20.........

This is a replacement for the original part that started leaking after about two years, so as for what I liked most is not having to clean up the water that was leaking from the pump

Received this a day or so sooner than expected. I wish that this part was sold locally, but aside from that, everything is great!

I agree with previous writers. I have a Fluval 206 and a 406 and the red lever on this part is too weak. It breaks easily. It needs to be strengthened and perhaps made from a more rugged material. An unrelated complaint it that the tubing to and from the filter clogs much too easily. It needs to be larger in diameter.

Leaks in under three months I am dissatisfied with this purchase
