> 3 dayThis valve is so cheap and fragile. Every time I buy one I baby it in every way and they always leak after 16 months or less. After they fail I exam them as closely as I can and I never see any reason why it should leak. Its the inside!... Made of the cheapest plastic possible. All my leaky fluval valves look new. If you get a good deal with the canister filter they will get you back with this pricey cheap plastic valve several times over.$20.........
