Just got mine today; a little bit of peace of mind, perhaps, as I venture on even better adventures. The set up was quite easy, just follow the directions, and so far Im very pleased with my new device. I am especially happy with the preloaded maps and the cell phone app; both provide excellent maps for planning and navigation. Ill update as I learn more but, so good, so far . . .

Need to send owners manuel

I used my inReach for a long section hike. I has attempted to change my service contract before I left, but apparently the change did not go through. I was charged several hundred dollars for tracking the hike. Customer service would not reverse any of the charges. I am cancelling all my Garmin accounts.

I’ve tried a few. The worst by far was zoleo. This one might not be the most intuitive or have the best battery life but it’s solid all around and reliable.

Great product I am sure it has saved lives I can see how it would. I feel Garmin should make a new or updated version now that technology is so available and inexpensive it would be handy if it was a touch screen much like a smartphone.

Great tool for hiking. Can communicate 2 ways to help rescue locate you.

The service is faulty or the data was deliberately choked. In reach choked the data and instead of transmitting my location every 2 minutes it went to every 4 hours. You put my life at risk.

Works as promised. The battery doesnt stay charged as long as they promise but lasts a long time. Easy to operate and accurate as can be. I highly recommend it.
