> 24 hourI wore an Apple Watch for years but found I was distracted by all the notifications, so I disabled most. What I ended up with was an expensive, somewhat fragile GPS watch with poor battery life. Needless to say, the Garmin Instinct Solar is everything that I was looking for... tracks heart rate, exercise, sleep patterns, and more, all while being MIL-STD-810G shock and impact rated, water resistant to 100M, and has battery life in weeks, rather than days, not to mention utilizing solar to keep the battery topped off to further extend battery life to a month or more in sunny environments.

> 24 hourAfter shopping around for several months to finally landed on the Garman Instinct Solar. I bought it and was well pleased with it for two months. Then the battery refused to charge in the sun and two weeks later it refused to charge using the cord. I called Garman to see if we can resolve the issue after a little back-and-forth in the chat session and answering some questions about the problems I was experiencing they sent me a replacement at no charge. I was outside of my return window at Amazon but Garmin stepped up and did the right thing. I do love this watch. I am very active outdoors and I love the fact that it charges in the sunlight. All the health monitoring widgets are very accurate. It pairs OK with my iPhone. I can read my texts and emails on my watch but I cannot reply or answer calls from my watch. No big deal.

> 24 hourI knew it didnt have a touchscreen interface. What I didnt realize is just how unintuitive it would be to operate this menu system with the buttons. I read the manual. I tried to get used to it. I sent it back quickly. I was in a workout on the watch. I stopped the clock but I couldnt figure out how to exit back to the main screen. I got stuck on the compass at a separate point. Ultimately, in attempting to get back to the main watch face I managed to turn the GPS off and couldnt figure out how to get it back to normal. I wanted to put it on the ground and bash it with a hammer, but instead, I put it straight back in the box and returned it.

> 24 hourLove the GPS features, the app, the auto detect for stairs, and my daily walks. I like the simple watch face and the large ##s I dont need my glasses to read most functions. The solar rechargeable feature is nice.

> 24 hourUsual Garmin quality. The sleep tracker could be improved as there are times I am awake only for the tracker to indicate I was asleep.

> 24 hourThis Garmin is inaccurate. It step counts are awful. I found out after purchase that any movement of the arms or vibration can cause it to count step that you havent used. The body battery is always at near zero even if I get a full nights sleep. The workout feature doesnt count my reps. The only thing I have found useful is when I go for my walks it runs. That about the only feature that appears accurate.

> 24 hourThis has been a great tool the past 8 months. I use it mainly for walks and runs. But have also used it on a rower and put it into broadcast heart rate mode so I can monitor my heart rate on the rower screen. I appreciate simple black and white screen versus color because it makes it easy to view with polarized sunglasses on and in direct sunlight. Found the charging feature helps extend my battery life while utilizing GPS tracking.

> 24 hourVery user unfriendly. Finding and using different functions is a pain in the butt. Wouldnt buy it again.
