> 3 dayI’ve previously used Garmin products so adapted to this one quickly. Really enjoying the extended battery life. Functionality is similar to the 45 but the GPS seems to be more accurate, not that the 45 was bad, the instinct is just better. Solar charging was another option I was interested in. Plenty sunny here in the South so I’ll find out more about that soon.

> 3 dayBe sure to buy the 2 Year Accidental Repair and Extended Protection Plan. This “rugged” outdoor watch is NOT very rugged at all. Within months of receiving the watch as a Christmas gift last year (@$399), I managed to crack the crystal. Due to COVID the most extreme activities that I was participating in were napping and binge watching NetFlix. When contacted, Garmin refused to replace or repair, but rather offered to exchange the watch for an additional $179. Now on the year(+) anniversary of ownership one of the silicon band stays has broken. I admit that the crack in the watch face has not impacted the watch’s performance but for a watch advertised as a “rugged outdoor watch”, it has not well withstood even infrequent indoor wear.

Greater than one weekThere are many different settings that you can change to personalize your watch to the way you want. Getting the date changed is an unprepared action you had to do, which was connect to GPS satellites to change.

11-06-2025Ill start by saying Im a male late 30s Apple Ecosystem user living in an urban city, with my wife and newborn. I own a MacBook, iPhone, HomePod mini- I rely on Apple a lot. Im also an arguably average exerciser- I ride my road bike, jog a few miles each week, and like to keep track of my steps and sleep. I grew up wearing a G-Shock and an Eco-drive. Ive owned many smart/fitness watches in the past- Polar, Fitbit, Withings, Apple to name a few.

> 3 dayEverything about the product is exactly as expected. Excels in everything--accurate measurements, low maintenance, zero lags in detections, and Garmin quality to boot. Only gripe, if I may, is that unlike G Shock solar watches where you can actually see the battery being charged on solar exposure, this unit doesnt visibly fill up the battery capacity but extends the potential duration of the watch by number of days. So, the battery shows half tank and stays like that even if exposed to solar charging but in actuality battery life extends by weeks. Just a small thing but Im nitpicky about what I can or cannot see. But ten out of ten for this watch. Couldnt have been more happy. Bought during Prime week of $248 sale!!

> 3 dayBetter than my Galaxy Watch. I love the battery life of 35+ days. I dont need the fancy pants touch screen with useless apps. The notifications work for what I need - Text/Call/Email. Workout tracking/sync with my android is great. HR and tracking is far superior to my Galaxy Watch. Its comfy and looks great. Definitely Would Recommend!
