> 3 dayFirst time buying a watch like this. Took about a week to get comfortable using this watch but really enjoy what it can do. Manual is pretty limited with information so go YouTube what you needed to know.

Greater than one weekHad a Fitbit charge 3 that crapped out on me. I decided I wanted a more robust fitness tracker. Was looking at the versa 3 and the venue se. While researching those two ran across this watch. It was exactly what I was looking for. Just right amount of smart watch features combined with solid connection and fitness tracking. Loving the battery life of this watch. The old school tech screen combined with the solar charging gives amazing battery life. No more charging the watch every 4 or 5 days. Super happy with it.

> 3 dayI can’t imagine what the battery life would be like in the non-solar version. I wear it daily, have been since February. It gets used on 2 runs and 5 strength sessions per week. The optimal 24 day thing (or 40 with battery saver on) is nonsense. I have to charge it every 3rd day. Yesterday I charged it to 100%. It briefly read 24 days, by the end of that day it told me I had 18 days. This morning 12 and as of my writing mid morning it’s at 11. I don’t have the pulse ox on. I like the watch. It’s useful for monitoring distance and exertion. But my god the battery is garbage, having to charge this every few days and not being able to rely on it really reduces it usefulness.

> 3 dayI am not tech saavy. It has a lot of tech but I can use it. Very simple. Solar really does charge the watch. If your outside a lot never need to charge. Used for running and notifications. Waterproof for pools and oceans. Does everything I need.

Greater than one weekIm a fan of solar G-Shocks that never need a battery so when I wanted to switch to a solar charging smartwatch I bought the Garmin. Unfortunately the as I found out the solar charging doesnt really charge the watch. Battery still drains extremely fast even when exposed to all day sunlight and thats with most features turned off to save battery. For the price this should be as good as the solar charging on G-Shocks in my opinion.
